  1. I've come here for years and the biggest issue I have is higher prices for less. I remember being able to get boneless/regular wings, and them being dripping with sauce for around a dollar per wing and the sides being cheaper. These days though the prices are higher and its like they give the chicken one dab of sauce. I remember being charged extra once when I asked for extra sauce, but I think they've stopped that, you'll still have to ask though.

The food is decent enough, its the variety of sauces that keep me coming back. There are 10+ sauces to choose from and most of them are pretty good.

This is strictly a take out Cluck-u, though eat in ones do exist. When you place an order maybe 2 or 3 people can fit in here. The counter people are usually pretty friendly and never had a big problem with delivery although I recommend just picking up, its way faster. So the sauces.  Are the highlight here, but there are definitely cheaper alternatives if you want chicken.

  2. If I was writing this review about 15 years ago, I'd easily and gladly give 5 stars. But that's not sadly not the case today. The taste and quality of the wings have gone down tremendously. I remember many years ago this place was so popular and the chicken wings were a nice size and the sauce all over it was finger-licking good. Now the prices are ridiculously hyped up and the wings are bland and small. High disappointing!

  3. GF talked a lot about this chain back when we were living in San Francisco, so I was excited to try it. We're both BIG on hot and spicy anything, so again, I was excited to try it. GF says their menu has expanded quite a bit to offer other options. I just wanted to try the wings. The spiciest sauce is their "911" and you have to sign a waiver for it. I decided to try the sauce just one notch under their spiciest, "Thermo Nuclear BBQ." It was sloppy wet, but I think some folks like that. Not me. I thought the sauce was pretty good, but not as spicy as I expected. On a scale of 1-10 on the hot meter, I'd give it a 6. "911" next time…hope it doesn't disappoint.
