  1. Happy CNY with my man. Coconut curry really blowed me away. The decoration is a lil bit Chinese. Boss can speak Chinese too.

  2. Very generous portions.
    Service was polite and responsive.

Thai iced tea was larger than other places I've been to and tasted great.

I had the chicken pad thai. They have a different recipe where they add in tofu & also makes it extra spicy (dish literally comes like red-ish all over)

Friends got the crispy chicken with rice & triple combination over rice. They all enjoyed their portions we left with a very full and content stomach.

Place isn't super fancy nor trashy so it was a perfect post-hiking early dinner spot.

They seat around 10ish parties with enough spacing between each table which was very comfortable.

Air- conditioned when we got in which was also a life savor!

  3. This may not be my go-to place for Malaysian but it does the job. I usually only come here for their Sizzling Bean Curd and roti canai. Their roti canai is slightly spicier and appears redder than Taste Good's. The Chinese broccoli with Crispy Pork Belly was disappointing for 2 reasons: pork belly was not crispy and the flavor was not up to par.

The service was attentive and friendly. When the server saw that our table was too small for the dishes we ordered, she asked us if we would like to move to another table which is intended to be for 4 people. I guess since the restaurant was empty for the most part (we came at around 5pm), this was feasible. I feel really good about their service so props to them. Their bathroom is kept reasonably clean as well.

  4. Their service and atmosphere are much better than Taste Good, but their food is less good. When I came last time, they ran out many ingredients and I had to change my order twice. At last I got Malay fried noodles, and found it a little too oily, though the flavor is OK.
And this place is cash only.

  5. Service is good but I was quite disappointed by the food. I've been to their Edison, NJ location but the menu and food is not the same.

The roti canai wasn't as crispy and the curry dipping sauce lacked flavor.
The pearl noodle was good and is probably order that again if I end up here again.
The hainanese chicken is also pretty decent, especially with the ginger chili sauce.
The biggest disappointment was the banana leaf stingray.  I was expecting the stingray to be cooked inside banana leaf.  Instead, it was deep fried.  Nothing like how they do it back home.

Now I understand why Taste Good has more and better reviews.

  6. yesterday was my first time trying coco. I cant believe I have never tried this place before. usually I go to taste good for Malaysian food but I think I will start coming here. The decor is nice. The food comes out quickly. And tastes good.

  7. My family and I went here on a whim since we just wanted some Malaysian food. We were definitely not disappointed! This place is very authentic and the food was amazing! We ordered pineapple fried rice, a curry, and mango chicken. The curry was the one that stood out!  It was just the right kind of spicy and flavoring. The other two dishes were pretty standard and nothing too special. However, the red beans ice I got was so good. I haven't had a red Bean drink that good in a while. Then the decor was very nice for a family dinner and even a date. The price was also very reasonable! This is a place I'm definitely looking forward to come back to!

  8. The Roti Canai was great

The Haininese Chicken was okay… not much flavor and the pieces was real boney

Didn't really like the chicken flavored rice… it just tasted like soggy oily rice

Prices were good.. cheap but I rather have better quality food
