  1. We come here periodically when in the area.
We got the watermelon sorbet and the red velvet ice cream for 2 flavors for $5.
The sorbet tasted too watery and the ice cream tasted too buttery.
Never can find a seat in this place.

  2. I'm a ice cream lover and cold stone locations are few and far between in Brooklyn. This location is not the best staff aren't friendly and welcoming and sometimes location has a wet mop smell. But the ice cream is pretty good lol.. Would absolutely  prefer the sheepshead bay location any day …

  3. It is really hard for me to "not to like" ice cream since I was 1 year old 🙂 Ice creams shops at that sense are lucky and likely to get 4 and more stars from me at all times 🙂

What's better in a shopping mall than a Cold Stone? 🙂 maybe an artisan option. I love the fact that Atlantic mall has this spot for at least 7 years I have known. Chocolate devotion and Cheesecake fantasy, love it size, with waffle were our picks last Sunday. No need to mention how good is chocolate devotion but the berries of the CF were all frozen and it kills your teeth. As they melt ice-cream gets watery. Maybe skip that one and try another signature choice.

They have 2-3 tables, even the line was long, they manage well and serve you while you are in line so you enjoy your time while waiting to pay 🙂

2 med. size with waffles are about $14.

  4. The ice cream is overpriced and they basically tell you they don't want you sitting in the store because they put the chairs up on one of the THREE tables. So if the other two are taken too bad so sad. Except for me. I take down the chairs off the table. So??

  5. I've been coming to Cold Stone for some time now. I visit at least once a year. Today, made it clear that I have no desire to visit this location. Firstly, the lines are always stinking long(sometimes all of the way out the door.) With the long lines, why are there so little people working? Secondly, the price isn't too cute. About $6 dollars for a small…it isn't THAT good. Thirdly, the service is SLOW. I understand their ice cream process takes time, but they took so long my ice cream was melting. LAST, how do they advertise ice cream they can't make? I asked for a particular ice cream "mix-in" and the person serving me stood confused for a few  minutes. She didn't have the ingredients, and she had to ask me what was in it…? The service was just bad. I asked for a top, and the person at the cash register didn't even cover it right..Get it together Cold Stone!

  6. I used to get Cold Stone ice cream when I went to high school around the area. My go to was banana ice cream with Reese's cup mix in.

Decided to try something new this time and got a Founder's Favorite (sweet cream ice cream with pecans, brownie, fudge, and caramel). Big mistake. I don't know how anyone can eat this. It was SO SWEET! And mind you, I have a sweet tooth, but eating this felt like I was just asking for diabetes. The first few bites were good, but after that, it was just too much.

The flow seemed kind of weird to me. So we ordered the flavor we wanted near where the ice creams and "cold stone" was, which is basically right by the entrance. The guy told us to go pay while he made it so we went. But then we had to walk back towards the entrance to get our ice cream again. They put up dividers to separate the line to order from the seating area so we had to push our way past people still waiting to order to get our ice cream again. Not the most efficient set up here.

Also, not sure if the "cold stone" where they mixed our ice cream was working properly or not but our ice cream was basically melting when we got it. That's not okay, especially since the whole point of this franchise is the cold stone.

  7. This location gets 3 stars in my book because it's the only location in the city that has my favorite Butter Pecan ice cream! I travel all the way from the Bronx just to get my ice cream and sometimes do a little shopping.

I would have given this place 5 stars but let's keep in mind that this location is in Brooklyn where people have little to no patience whatsoever and people are just down right rude and the service is absolutely horrible here.

  8. I don't have a "sweet mouth" (as we call people back home that love sweets/ice cream/ cake) but sometimes ladies, you know when we get that craving it has to answered.

I'm in Atlantic Mall quite a bit and I've noticed this store is always crowded (just like it is back home). I followed a queue in to the counter and as my personal preference is HD I had no idea what to order, or even how. I've never seen that rolling of the ice cream practice before. I was rushed and awarded with countless *sighs* as I made my enquiries so I left. One of my mottos is "don't ever spend your money where it clearly isn't welcomed."

I'm leaving it with two stars. I doubt children has to deal directly with sorely employees and if this spot could evoke the joy I saw on the little faces I left there, well that's something innit?

TIP: You work in too sweet an environment to be so sour.

    The End.
