  1. I get my coffee here every morning and it's always consistently good. Pastries are delicious and I love that they offer Kinder chocolate!

Also, everyone who works here are all super nice.

    I love Commissary!

  2. I've stopped by here a lot when I'm in the area for work. Their coffee bar is really good. And the pastries are yummy! I love all their croissants but the almond croissant is particularly good with the almond paste filling. And their quiches! So so delicious especially when you get them fresh from the oven. Their salad and sandwiches look really good as well.

  3. Stopped to check out breakfast. I order an egg and cheese on a roll. The sandwich was pretty good but nothing special, the eggs were cooked a bit more than i like. I also order a large latte, which was a bit weak on the coffee. Not a bad option when you need breakfast on the go b4 taking the train at the queens borough plaza station. I was surprised that this place does not have a bathroom for customers, they do have seating for about 20ppl, when i walked in there was plenty of seating to choose from.

  4. The convenience of this spot being right outside the train station platform is what makes this a go-to on days I have little time to make coffee or breakfast at home, but the quality of the food and slow service are serious drawbacks. I've tried to like this place and gave it many chances, but I keep on getting disappointed.

The service is incredibly slow and on some days unfriendly/with attitude. Their everything bagel is particularly bland and flavorless (the antithesis of an everything bagel!); their smoothies are watery (filled with ice, not enough fruit or add-in's) and the coffee is really hit or miss, with a sometimes metallic aftertaste. The food experience ranges from below average to average, at best.

This morning the service was particularly slow with a queue of people waiting to order and a longer line of folks waiting for their sandwich and/or coffee, tea, etc. There were 3 employees behind the register and 5 more people behind the food/coffee counter so I'm not sure why it takes them so long! Really inefficient at taking and filling orders in a timely fashion.

It's unfortunate because I *really* wanted this to be my morning breakfast spot. The convenience of location was too good to be true. I'm afraid I ran out of chances to give. I would suggest walking further down for better coffee & quality breakfast foods. This place is meh for service, timeliness and food quality, unfortunately.

  5. Great place. The food is fantastic as are the smoothies, coffee and juices. Once you get past the totally unique location steps from the Queensborough Plaza subway stop you will realize you are in one delicious, small business deli. They are very friendly and helpful with anything you want. They also are great for big group events for your business. We used them for cakes and other meals at times.

    I love it.

  6. Healthy food and drinks.  I have been here a few times and have tried several different fresh fruit drinks and sandwiches. I also got a chocolate croissant there. One of my favorite sandwich there is the Italian antipasti, which comes with fresh cuts of chicken meat, roasted red pepper, artichoke, and balsamic dressing drizzled on your choice of bread. It was tasty and filling. Everything I've tried there has been good….I just wish it wasn't so expensive….but I guess you get what you pay for 🙂

  7. Get the Half sandwich and soup deal, only $6! The staff here is really nice and for this neighborhood it's a healthy meal option. The California chicken is my favorite sandwich but the others are good too. Soups are yummy. Smoothies and fresh juices are really good too and a good value.

  8. Very convenient when you are hopping off or on the train at Queensboro Plaza.  Stopped in one morning to grab a bagel on my way to jury duty.  It was pretty quiet so I got my bagel fairly quickly.

The cashier and cook were pleasant.  Prices are average compared to other places.  Variety of baked goods, bagels, cream cheeses, breakfast sandwiches, etc.
