Cosi

“But he had been working for 8hrs straight supposedly so i cant hold it against him.”

“During lunchtime rush hour (12:30-2PM) if the sandwich and salad lines get too long, it blocks the path for people trying to get to the cashier or people coming down the stairs.”

  1. The staff at this Cosi, at least when we went, have definitely checked out already. Our food wasn't made very well and they took forever to make it. They were also kind of rude and yelling at each other while we were waiting for our food. I've been to other Cosi restaurants that were much better than this one so if you're going to go, maybe pick a different location. Also, when we were there one of the employees was throwing out A TON of raw dough that apparently had been made but never cooked. It was probably at least $100 in uncooked dough and with the number of homeless people in the city, you would think they would cook it and donate it, or even donate it raw to a shelter to cook instead of just throwing it all out.

  2. Tried their cappuccino chia shot and was disappointed a bit. Low-fat necessarily doesn't need to be tasteless!

  3. I'm honestly not a Cosi fan, but I am a fan of free food. Had a coupon and came here for lunch one day. The line moved quickly and there was someone to direct you since there are different lines depending on what you want (salad, sandwich).

My Cosi club was thrown together quickly and efficiently. After paying, we noticed there aren't many seats at this location. I would suggest to bring back to the office or go to Bryant park to eat. The sandwich was good, but for the size, it's not worth $10.

  4. Cosi has been in and out of my lunch/quick dinner rotation since 2001.  I'm a fan of their Tandoori Chicken and Turkey & Brie Sandwiches.

I decided to try the Tuscan Pesto Chicken Sandwich, which is just okay.  The chicken could definitely use more pesto.

I had a great customer service experience at this location. There was a bit of a wait to have my sandwich made (I must have caught them in between trying to make sandwiches and warm the bread).  My server was immediately apologetic and cut me a warm piece of bread as soon as it came out of the oven.  Even a gesture as small as that shows how you care for your customers, so thank you!

  5. I like the food. Menu could need some change every so often. However the location needs a better system on where to stand to place the order, wait and pay for your order.
The staff hussles. They are working. But the mapping of where the customers stand causes so much traffic.

  6. A great location as Cosi goes.  Ample seating, fast-moving line, and super friendly team behind the counter.  Also, lots of freshly baked bread all day which they dole our generous samples of while you wait.

Recently, they did an initiative for free sandwiches on Fri in November o. Behalf of charity, which was off the hook awesome.

  7. The service started off well as I walked to the salad bar this young man did a great job as far as making sure my needs were met. When I got to the cashier Mariam made sure to kill the positive experience I was having. First off she was on her white Samsung smart phone texting away and not paying attention.

Then she grabs my salad and drops it into the brown paper bag and of course the lid popped open she then threw my fork and knife in as well as. I then gave her a look to see if she was okay, she jiggled are you kidding me! She then forced to grab my credit card and went back to her texting as my receipt printed, I was gonna lose it and make a scene but my hunger was killing me.

How is it possible that a ghetto person with no soft skills is behind a cash register?

I promise you I will never return did I Say never, I should have just gone to just salad. At least they understand customer service. #Cosi #getCosi #RudeService

  8. Like the typical Cosi except the ordering and payment lines are confusing. The lines go a bit fast on some days. The staff is friendly at times — but they do say they will do things and don't follow through — I am still waiting for my bleu cheese on the side. I prefer the Cosi at the 23rd and 6th Avneue location.
