One of my favorite bars around. Pretty standard bar food menu, Irish breakfasts every weekend. Definitely one of the b est Guinness pints around.
Weekends could get busy. Weekday evenings are best for dinner and a drink or two. Shepherds pie is awesome, great mashed potatoes not dry at all; buffalo shrimp, tangy and spicy not overly fried.
They have a dart board and a jukebox
A great bar done right
I like this place. I really like this place actually, and here's why.
Staff:
The friendliest people i've ever seen behind a bar. They know how to work a packed bar and get people their drinks.
Atmosphere:
Come here for soccer games and you'll have the most fun you've ever had (especially when the US is playing because then everyone and their mother comes). Saturday/Sunday mornings if you can catch a BPL game (or La Liga, bundesliga, serie a etc…) you will have a good time.
Food:
I personally love the shepards pie here. Its delicious filling (but not too filling) and consistent. The burgers are really good as well.
And if you want a Guinness poured the right way come here. Its a good place for a beer some food and friendship.
This review is based on drinks and atmosphere – the numerous times I have gone here I have never eaten here. A spot for the locals – especially around the holidays it can be a Teaneck high school reunion. Cheap prices, no frills pub, darts, and good bartenders = good place to have some drinks – no heels needed. Street parking and the lot in cvs is right next door. Perfect for low key night out (unless you grew up in the area, then be ready to see some familiar faces, which can be fun after a few drinks.) If in the mood go for it – and it's the place to be to watch a futbol match!
Best Guinness pour in the area. Delicious shepards pie.
This is an Irish dive bar. They aren't trying to be anything else. They know how to serve beer and they know how to cook comforting food that you love to eat while drinking. They also have friendly bartenders.
Love this place .
Nice local dive bar where you can take a seat and watch a game with a cold glass of beer. Friendly staff! Food selection is not very large but has small selection of nice bar bites including wings, fries w/curry sauce, salads and sandwiches. Ordered a glass of Guinness to find they know how to pour.. the right way!
If you are into soccer, this is a perfect place to be. Make sure you are routing for the right team!
It's a true blue Irish pub!
Went here one Sunday night with friends and it's very relaxed. Not a lot of people were there, it was nice.
I would definitely return.
I stood. Just stood in the middle of the room for 10 minutes, before someone acknowledged us as we were heading out annoyed.
This is a local place and seems to entertain only regulars. I felt so out of place. No menu cards were given to us. We weren't sure where we were supposed to sit, at the bar or the booth.
I donot like this place at all. Atleast the way we were treated. I saw they have a karaoke night on Wednesday. Was excited at first. Then realized I don't fancy to be treated that way again. So pass. I donot recommend it.
Cool, local, Irish pub in my hometown of Teaneck. Stopped by on a Monday for happy hour and grab a couple beers with my cousin. Their happy hour special is $1 off all drinks. Ordered an appetizer sampler to share. Standard quality bar food, but they do pour a perfect pint of Guinness.
Not a bad place if you're trying to just hang out and drink locally.
