  1. I really like Create! The delivery minimum is 15 which is expensive since I only order food for myself. In that case, I usually get pickup. The create your own sandwich is so effing good. Soooo many options, and fresh and affordable. Salad is good too, and they have fresh pink lemonade!

I would stay away from the juices though. All 3 times I got half of it as a foamy juice. The girls that juiced for me were very amateur. create needs a strainer and proper training for the juice bar, but I'll only knock off one star for that.

I just placed a delivery order and it came in 11 minutes. Amazing.

  2. Good breakfast sandwiches, good quality ingredients and they make them pretty fast. I didn't expect to find a place like this on 30th Ave, I figured everything would be bars or traditional restaurants, but it's nice to have a quick sandwich/salad spot to duck into when you need grab a bite.

Only real negative is the espresso was pretty bad. I wouldn't get coffee here.

  3. I'm starting to realize that when Create is busy, usually on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon, my food is either forgotten about or it's wrong.  There is specifically one sandwich guy that seems to mess up my order every time.  All other workers are very nice and attentive.  I just hope Create starts weeding out the lazy workers because it makes me second guess going as often as I do.

  4. I'm confused; is the delivery minimum $15 or $25? If you want to make life easy by ordering delivery from the website, it states that delivery minimum is $25…not practical if you're ordering food for just yourself. However if you really want food from this place, I suppose you need to think ahead, and order food for the following day that will amount to $25. When I called over the phone, I was told delivery minimum is $15. Choose one people!

  5. This is a good spot if you want something healthy and quick. You are not going to get a gourmet or restaurant style salad here but it gets the job done if you're hungry. They give you a choice of bread to go along with your salad.. The cinco de mayo wrap is really good.

  6. This is a great healthy place for lunch!  Everything tastes fresh and they are relatively fast.

You can custom your salad and they make it right in front of you.

I've also had their quinoa bowls and farro bowls.  Everything tastes delicious.

Decent prices and they give you a good amount of food.

  7. While the service at Create is friendly, the food and atmosphere just aren't good enough to merit a return visit. I went for breakfast hoping to find a place where I could settle in with a hearty meal and work on my laptop for a while, but unfortunately both parts of this plan were thwarted.

I had a Santa Fe Breakfast Quesadilla with home fries and a Sumatra Roast coffee, but everything about the food was subpar. The quesadilla was soggy, and lacked flavor. Even the side of guacamole that I ordered was too limey and lacked consistency. The home fries, I barely even touched, as they were for some reason slightly sweet? Maybe it was the onions. The coffee was probably the best thing I had on Monday morning. On top of the underwhelming breakfast, their WiFi was down. When I asked if they had an alternate password for their other Create username, they said no and that they guessed it wasn't working. The woman behind the counter didn't offer to reset the modem, so I packed up and went home. I wish I would have just gone to Brookyln Bagel like I usually do.

  8. The ordering system here will make you nervous. Go in expecting that.

Yes, there is gluten free bread, but if you don't want cross contamination, it will require some discourse with your sandwich artist, or stay away from the sandwich. But most of us allergic to gluten know all this.

The Astoria location does not have any fountain sodas, which makes me sad.

One of the authoritative workers has been grumpy and yelling at the workers both times I've been there. It made the customers uncomfortable. So, cheer-up!
