Cheap fried chicken. So freakin' good. If you're going to spend money on deep-fried greasy poultry, go here. It's cheaper than KFC or Popeyes, and it tastes even better (sometimes).
I guess you can't go wrong with anything fried and salty. I wasn't really in the market for fried chicken so I decided to pursue a spinach roll. And a pursuit it was. They had forgotten my order and only remembered to place it when they noticed I was still standing after 3 other people got their piles of cholesterol. Twenty minutes and one dollar later, I received my egg-roll look-alike. I was ridiculously impatient with them by then. They had somehow filled about 10 orders after I placed mine. But for a local cheap eatery, I couldn't expect awesome service. Hungry, disappointed, and anxious, I took my first bite of the 6 inch roll, and all was forgiven. They were just busy.
Heyo, 10 pieces of mostly dark meat chicken as I requested and 2 slices of pizza with a drink at $16 fits my budget. The pizza were surprisingly good. Idk if it was because I was hungry or I haven't had pizza in a while. The fried chicken skin is not as crispy as Popeyes but it passes. The flavor was better than average Chinese take out chicken wings. I would know LOL. I love dark meat so much omg. I know white meat is healthier but it's so dry like why so dry? I would come back if I'm in the hood again :3
