  1. So this was my favorite Chinese take out spot.  At some point they got new owners.  The food has declined, but it's still the best on the island.

I will admit I still get take out from here even though my dad got terrible food poisoning. I like to believe it was an isolated incident.

The wonton soup is flavorful and has about four wontons in it.  It has pork and some leafy vegetable.  It's not overly salty.  Also, their egg drop soup is tasty too.  The pork egg role is crunchy, large size but sometimes way too greasy.  Their homemade duck sauce is very tasty.  They pack the nice large chips to dip it in.

The egg foo young is flavorful and not overly greasy.  It has a thick gravy.  Also, the combination platter is a large serving for a fair price.

The shrimp with lobster sauce is another family favorite.  It's jumbo shrimp in a thick but light, flavorful sauce.

My other favorite is chicken with broccoli in garlic sauce.  The broccoli is crunchy.  The sauce is flavorful.  The chicken is tender.

Although I have noticed a decline in the quality after the newer owners took over, I hope they recognize this and improve.  It's hard to find good Chinese food and from the former owners they have a good following.  I'll still continue loyal as long as they work to step up their food to the former standard.

  2. For years, I've would only take-out from Crown Palace. Now that I've dine here. I can finally review it yay!

The bestie and I came to dine here after working out ( I know counter productive). The server sat us right away. The decor of the establishment has a pinkish theme going on. Not my cup of tea but its not tacky.

My better half order the beef with string beans combo with pork fried rice. It also comes with an egg roll. I order the sauteed Chinese spinach with white rice. We only waited for 10 minutes because the place was empty. My meal was delicious and fresh. It was a lot of food so I have to take some home. My friend said her meal was good. The server was very nice and I will continue to order from this place.

    Tips and Recommendations

    1. When you enter the place. Their are two doors. One to order and take out. The other to dine.
    2. Parking. Its is located inside a plaza. You shouldn't have any problem with parking.
    3. Public transportation. The s/48 and the s/66 runs near the restaurant. During rush hours the s/98 also stops near the place.
    4. Customer Service. As mentioned above, very attentive and nice.
    5. Enjoy!
