“the only reason I'm giving BBQ four stars, is only because of their pina coladas..,in particular the mango one especially!”

  1. – I came here for my birthday and this place was PACKED! The efficiency of this HUGE restaurant blew me away. My party of 8 and I sat upstairs away from the hustle/bustle of the main floor so it was a little quieter. Dee took care of us and she was AWESOME. Our drinks were amazing and the half-chicken based with honey I had was fantastic. We all had a good time and I'll surely be coming back to Dallas BBQ, hopefully on a day where it isn't as busy.

  2. I've been here a couple of times and so far each experience has been excellent. I love the food here you get a lot for what you pay for and quality is always consistently great. The prices are thankfully not increased despite their prime location in the heart of nyc. We got the Tempura vegetables which were crispy and flavorful. The two of us also shared a combination plate of steak, chicken and shrimp. The steak was accurately made medium well which is much appreciated. The chicken was not dry and the shrimp came out crispy. I also ordered a frozen Margarita the Moscatomama  which was of course Texas size complete with a test tube of vodka and a small bottle of Moscato with a cute umbrella on top. Their frozen margaritas have varying degrees of strength but his one in particular I found strong but still sweet and delightful. Everything I come here the waitstaff have been excellent. They always check up and see if we need anything and never rush our meals. I will continue to come back here as long as they uphold this terrific standard of service.

  3. Maaaan I'm going to keep it short and sweet. The wings with the honey glaze on it…. THEEEE best wings of my life!!! They wouldn't tell me what was in it but because I have a chefs palate I figured it out. The fried shrimp were cooked to perfection with the perfect amount of batter. And yummmmm the ribs!!! They gave me life. They were moist and smokey. Everything was amazing. Our service was outstanding and we left with free mini cupcakes in a to go container. The minute I'm back in NY I'm heading back here!!! Treat yourself and check this place out.

  4. The ribs tasted mediocre and really saucy. The chicken wings definitely tasted better. The shrimps and the steak were alright. Overall, it isn't bad for the price of it. It's like a buffet on a plate.

  5. I love Dallas BBQ. I am here about once a month. I love the drinks, and the BBQ. Everything is huge and cheap in the theater district. However, the service from my last visit was horrible.

Our server was extremely impatient. He argued with a couple sitting next to us whom didn't speak English very well. The couple ordered a salad and BBQ chicken and the server heard them saying steak. When the couple sent the steak back, the server kept say 'that's what you ordered, you said steak' etc They also pointed to our 20oz beer and said they wanted what we had, and the server sent them bottle beer. Again the server argued they didn't specify. How could any server do that!? You don't argue with the customer. Definitely not when the restaurant was packed and everyone was staring. This is Times Square and there are a ton of tourists who do not speak English well. He is not a good representation of America!

As for us, it took him a good 5 minutes to greet us after we sat down. It was my friend's first time in the store and he was not very friendly answering question about the menu and drinks. He just threw the bill at us right after we finished and took it away right after we signed. I felt like I was not welcome.

I didn't tip him. I don't feel bad. I'm so mad that I lost the receipt and lost his name. I will make sure I won't get him next time I visit.

  6. We ordered from your restaurant last week while staying at the Hilton across the street. This was the worse meal in our trip. It was completely uneatable. It wasn't enjoyed at all due to the lack of quality. It was a very expensive meal and quite honestly, worth nothing! There are no good places to eat around Times Square. Next time I will be staying somewhere else, but if you are looking to eat at this place please don't! Get into a cab or UBER and go far from this area to eat something that it is worth something.

  7. Love their Frozen Margaritas (always taste better in Texas size) and Hennesey Colada.
They have really large portions. They have more restaurants and I prefer the one on 1265 3rd Ave, it´s more cozy. On the other hand, you are around Times Square, this defnitely the best place to go.

  8. What a great place

    Huge inside
    Staff friendly and quick
Menu cheaper than most places in NYC
    Wings are amazing
    Portions huge

    Just a great experience

My only negative is that it's so big there is no great atmosphere, felt like I was in a very large school cafeteria
