Food is 2 stars… 1 extra star for quick delivery.
I ordered delivery from here last night and its one of those times where good Yelp reviews fail you. Chicken came after 30 mins (I live in Palpark) which was amazing but the food was very disappointing. Out of all the Korean chicken spots in this area, this is probably the most underwhelming.
Their sauces are lacking everything good. Soy garlic was very sweet with close to zero garlic flavor and the spicy chicken was super spicy with not much else. You just taste a LOT of heat. There were also a couple pieces that looked like chicken but was all fat & batter… RUDE. Cole slaw is a nono. Its pretty much just sprinkled with vinegar. Fries were average. My family did not enjoy this place 🙁
Big portions & fast delivery but would not eat here again.
New Korean style chicken place on broad ave. Unlike most Korean fried chicken is that the chicken here is a lot more saucier. I personally prefer bonchon chicken over this kind, but variety is the spice of life, so if ya like saucy chicken, this place is for you.
My friend and I got a small size which was about 10 wings for $10.99 in soy garlic. They also have other sides like fries and onion wings, which we also got and imo just okay.
This place was not bad but I also didn't think it was so good either.
3.5 stars
This is one of the new places that opened on Broad ave. Me loving Korean style fried chicken a lot I tried this place twice; both times fried chicken and garlic marinated one (half and half).
I thought the chicken was a bit dry and less salty. Depending on what you are looking for, this could be a very healthy side of fried chicken, but I thought it was a little a bit off my taste bud.
Service was great. Because they had take out orders it took a little bit of time for the pick up, but the staff (?owner) were very nice. They also have very unique interior which is hard to see in usual Korean restaurants.
Great addition in the area, if you're craving for Korean fried chicken…
Nicely done decor, service is also quite nice. It's a BYO and they even brought you a bucket of ice to keep your beer cold and a nice mug will also be provided.
I don't recommend the snow chicken a.k.a chicken covered with cheese powder, it's just doesn't work, at least for me. It has sweet and savory and cheese going on, it's just awkward.
Other than that all the other chicken is pretty good, and they come with different dipping sauces, plus your typical pickled radish, and vinegar based cole slaw.
They also offered deliver with a minimum of $20 for the locals. Obviously, they do not serve alcohol here. However, there's a liquor store right down the block where you can grab soju (Korean "vodka" liquor like) and beer.
This place open pretty late and if you're still hungry there's plenty of other spots around there where you can get good food.
