Dee Thai Restaurant
“I've enjoyed the papaya salad, pad kee mow, gra prow, Thai rice with crispy pork, and many other dishes.”
“I really like the Basil Fried Rice, Pad Cee Ew and Red Curry but really, everything is good, so just have something.”
“The spring rolls are similarly crunchy and delicious without being greasy – normally an item I avoid because I hate greasy food.”

the service was nice because they rearranged tables to give us a table asap.
Their thai iced tea was tasty but kinda sweet.
The ambiance is nice but the music was kind of dingy.
The waitress water refill was on fleek.
I had the Basil Thai Fried Rice w/ chicken. It was kind of sour, but they gave a decent amount.
A slight bit more expensive than other thai places i've been to.
Place isn't huge but is spacious enough.
Solid Thai food. My friend and I ordered the ocean curry, shrimp pad thai, and kee mow and they were a lot better than we expected.
But don't ever order the crab meat fried rice. It had to be one of the saltiest, most bland dish I've ever tasted in a Thai establishment. We put the curry sauce from the entree on it and it still didn't help. I wish I went with the pineapple or basil fried rice instead.
All the waitresses are sweet and accommodating.
after the whole food poisoning debacle, i was very hesitant to return when my boyfriend wanted to have dinner here. but, we went anyway because the other times we've been to dee thai were fine. my boyfriend ordered the green curry while i ordered the vegetable pad thai. the portions were very generous, and my boyfriend remarked on how they use chinese rice, which, according to him, is a bit bigger than traditional thai rice, so he didn't have to order extra rice – he just dumped all of it into his curry bowl. my pad thai was absolutely delicious that at one point in the meal, my boyfriend saw how i was eating almost all of it (usually i eat half) and told me i should slow down so i don't get too full. but it was so good! they gave me lots of vegetables, too – snow peas, string beans, broccoli, bean sprouts, cabbage, spinach – and every bite was full of flavor. the only downside was that their service is a bit slow, but hey, more alone time for us.
So I've had dee Thai twice this week and on both occasions, they were spot on. Awesome noodles and the pork crispy and delicious. Happy to see them coming back!
I ordered the beef pad cee ew to go as it seemed to get good reviews. Unfortunately, for me it was a fail. The whole meal was dry and it tasted burnt. I tried my best to cover up the burnt taste with lime and chili sauce. I may give this place another shot, but I will try dining in (hopefully the food will taste better. For now, Thai Malay Cafe is the place to beat in this neighborhood.
I've gotten sick a couple times from Dee since my last review, so I don't order from here anymore 🙁
This is one the cutest Thai food places I've been to! I have been wanting to check this place out for legit 2 years now. My wait was finally ovahh! I do not regret coming in here for dinner. My fiancé and I decided to have dinner after out Saturday class so we stopped by Dee's.
We both ordered the Pad See Ew because we're like obsessed. Anyway we had an order of Thai styled dumplings and to drink i had water and he ordered a Thai iced coffee. It. was. amazing. The Pad See Ew was so delicious. It had the perfect amount of noodles and chicken which makes me a happy gal. I was a bit disappointed with the dumplings because they were soo tiny! & they only gave four…four for $6! Not a cool!
Other then that the waitress was super cool & nice with us. She took our order and came with our drinks right after. The food came out fast as well. The place itself was very comfortable and well decorated. I cant wait to come back and try a few other things on the menu 🙂
Dee Thai, the Thai spot conveniently located next to Starbucks for studyholics to grab dinner after a long day of facebooking and chatting.
Pad Thai, Pad Se-ew, Chicken Basil Fried Rice, are ALL delicious.
But the dish I found to be supreme above all dishes is the Beef Authentic Soup. The name itself brings joy and revives my appetite. Large generous portions of beef chunks and cuts of greens and veggies in rich seasoned broth sprinkled with crunchy specks of goodness brings joy on a cold winter's night. Dip the spoon and scoop the broth, use chopsticks to plant a chunk of meat, and place rice on top. Make sure the rice soaks in the broth to cool down the temperature- then enjoy. The attentive service, clean restrooms, and spacious space only helps Dee to be one of the best Thai restaurants in Sunnyside.
