As always a perfect night at Delmonico's with my Sandra. Steak and oysters is what I was in the mood for and they did not disappoint. Oysters were plump and flavorful and the steak was spot on. Tender and juicy. There was a small problem with Sandra's seafood primavera but it was corrected immediately by the very helpful and courteous staff. Now that it's getting warmer can't wait to go back and sit outside on their newly remodeled terrace. Looks great guys. See you soon.
Friendly service and great happy hour drink and food specials. Great place to sit outside in the warmer weather, maybe the only place in Cedar Grove that you can do this!
Only complaint is that the menu is probably too big. With so many food choices, nothing really jumped out at me. Went with a burger med-rare. It was super tasty and the fried were really good, although it was done med-well. I'll give it another try for food, but def go back for drinks.
Del monicos is solid. Great happy hour specials ! ($4 tapas and $3 house wine among others…)
The service is great. The waitress was willing to give us happy hour specials in the dining room to accommodate my cousin with her baby (since there was not space in the bar area). Our drinks were constantly refilled and we ordered a ton of tapas. Nothing particularly mindblowing, but for $4 a plate, you can't go wrong.
My cousin, girlfriend, and I had a great time during happy hour.
Can't speak to the entrees, but I will definitely be back for another happy hour!
Happy Hour is great! Had a glass of wine for only $3 and it wasn't cheapy wine! Food was delicious – I had shrimp wrapped in bacon – the presentation of the dish was very nice…shrimp was over spinach – there was also a side of lomein noodles and cabbage – a little bit of everything. My friend had the boneless chicken wings which was also delicious – that also came with sides…linguini with spinach and cabbage – the service was great and friendly! I heard it is very nice to go in the spring/summer since they have patio area – I will definitely be coming back to Del Monico's!
