Deli guy deli guy… Wish this a better review but it's not.
This place is EXTREMELY OVER PRICED. 10 dollar small tuna salad. $3 up charge for extremely thin eggplant slices. Sandwiches are so over priced and not worth the money.
I get it, there's not much in this area. There's a high school down the street. Why not make more money?! Because it's cheating. Not worth it.
I have to disagree with a lot of the other reviewers; however, my experience has ONLY been with breakfast. I have to pass the Deli Guy every single day after dropping my daughter at school and while it isn't easy for me to get to, they make it worth a stop.
In a nutshell, they make an excellent TEC (That's a Taylor Ham, Egg and cheese for all you Non-Jersey folks) for a reasonable price. In all honesty, it's better than the regular bagel place I go to near my house. The coffee here is also pretty good. I'm usually picky about getting coffee in a little place like this because it usually sits around until it's stale, but The Deli Guy makes some pretty good coffee. too.
So, for breakfast at least, I'm a fan and I will continue to stop by once in a while for good coffee, a TEC, and good prices. Also doesn't hurt that I always get a big hearty 'Good Morning!' and service with a smile.
