“Im not a cheap guy by any means, but don't want to spend that much on first or second dates.”
“I think it is one of the best values on the Upper East Side (both this location and the one on 74th Street).”

The pizza here is ok. I ordered a large with half mushroom, half green pepper, and a side of garlic knots. When I placed my order, I asked if the green peppers were fresh and if they cooked them before they put them on the pizza. They said yes to both, so I asked if they could put the peppers on the pizza uncooked because it gets too mushy when they're cooked. They agreed to do it but said they wouldn't do that again for me…weird. The garlic knots were ok but pretty dry. And they weren't warm when they arrived. The flavor was good, though. Overall, everything was ok, but I probably will try somewhere else the next time I order pizza.
Every so often when I come from East Harlem down to Yorkville I stop in at Delizia for a slice or two. Now, if I'm the one in control of the pizza ordering I prefer it to some of the joints in the area. Their standard wavers on the doughy side, but in a nice way. Crust is still crispy at the bottom and the sauce has a nice sweetness to it. Any time I've dropped in the storefront their front tables are filled and the counter staff is efficient and friendly toward me. While I'd still stick to the nearby San Matteo if you want to impress, Delizia is great spot for solid slice.
For the first time I have just tried the order for pickup on yelp. Thanks to yelp for telling me about this place since I am just traveling through. Delicious! Tired both the thin crust and the thick. So great and they did a fantastic job with the to-go packing of my order.
Grandma and Sicilian slices were a let down here. The Sicilian hardly had any sauce on it and even though they heated it up, the cheese stayed too hard. Grandma slice had way too much oil and crust was completely soggy. Not at all like the slice I had at their other location.
Eggplant parm hero- good, fresh tasting, soft bread. Eggplant was very tender but much too greasy- tasted too much of oil and there was hardly any sauce on the hero at all.
Rude service -Very fast workers though!
I've actually never done dine-in here before, although it looks like it has the potential to be very nice or awkward. The dine-in area is towards the back, but it can easily be mistaken for a take-out only place because the front area gets congested during busy hours.
Their pizza is cheap, affordable, and tasty. What more could a New Yorker want? Soft(er) crust than most places, isn't too thin. Definitely worth ordering delivery here for your next party if you're in the area.
BEST PIZZA IN NYC. Hands down. I've lived in the city for a year and everything about this pizza is phenomenal.. The dough is flavorful, cheese is great and service is nice.
Grabbed two slices of pizza from here yesterday. A mushroom slice and a chicken slice. I thought both were "ok".
They were nowhere near the best slices I have ever had and definitely not anywhere close to the best on the UES. With that said – they were also no where near the worst. It was your totally average pizza slice in my opinion. So while I wouldn't hesitate to come back again, I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to come here either.
Grabbed a couple slices to go – the folks were super nice, the pizza was very tasty and I was wholly satisfied with their experience! I have been to this location as well as the one at 73rd and would recommend both.
