“The most important factors for successfully grabbing lunch in a work-related sprint (and likely a hunger-induced haze) are: 1) taste, 2) speed, 3) relative healthfulness.”

Great place in brookfield place to get lunch! Located right next to the starbucks. There's usually a line but it moves fast.
Super fresh made to order salads. They have an assortment of sandwiches, soups, and paninis. I got the chicken cutlet sandwich- toasted- so good!!! I have also tried the prosciutto sandwich- decent amount of meat.
Sandwiches cost around $10.
No where to sit inside so just get it to go and eat somewhere else.
The proximity to the office is what brought me here. I stopped in for breakfast and ordered oatmeal. It was edible but could be a lot better – mine was gummy and way too thick. I wish they had a more diverse topping selection as well.
I went back for lunch and ordered a turkey wrap – it hit the spot and was just the right amount of food. The salad station looked mighty good (there was a long line but it moved quickly).
Decent place to grab a quick bite but nothing spectacular.
One stop shop for all your breakfast/lunch needs.
Devon and Blakely is it great spot if you work in the immediate area or are looking to pick something up very quickly and that is pretty good.
I usually get a breakfast platter of bacon, cheese, eggs, tomatoes for $5.25 which is a good deal and just any random Sandwich I am in the mood for. All the sandwhich are good and you'll be satisfied but you will not be blown away by them. I would not go out of my way to come here but since I work around here it's a convenient spot to go to.
In short:
– good to grab a pre made sandwich
– ok food
– perfect to go to if you work or live in the area
I come to Devon and Blakely out of necessity and convenience, since its down stairs from my office.
Out of everything they serve the only thing I don't mind is their soups, which are usually pretty awesome.
I personally don't love their salads, and don't love most of their sandwiches
They are definitely over priced for the quality of their food. A sandwich with no sides or anything should by no means cost 8 bucks
I like the location at 1 WFC a bit better then this one, just the atmosphere inside.
This is worth 3.5 stars, but sorry, can't round this up to 4. Soups are pretty good, and I'm actually a fan of the spicy/cajun chicken. It comes on some good, crispy bread, but when you ask them to heat it and add cheese, the meat inside the sandwich is still cold and cheese not melted at all.
Typical (expensive) salad place in the city. For a small salad, just having the leaves and the container starts you off at $3.50. Every veggie you dump in will run you .50 cents a selection and protein will run you $1-$2 depending on your selection. They give you a free slice of bread when you check out.
My go-to place in my building.
Is it overpriced? Yes.
Is it fresh and convenient?
For the days I don't eat breakfast at home, their oatmeal is good. You can add unlimited toppings. I go for bananas, raisins and brown sugar. The same goes for their soups. As many toppings as you can fit. They have normal fixings like cheese, and croutons. But also, there are green onions! I'd recommend putting those in any soup/chili.
Their turkey chili is a great option. Their salad bar is the main draw. Expect the line to be out the door during lunchtime. The salads come in two sizes, and you pick your toppings and the mix it up for you. It's served with a slice of bread.
While hudson eats a few buildings over may be more exciting and have more varied options, Devon and Blakey is still convenient and good
