  1. With a name like Di Faras you'd think this place would sell good coffee.
I ordered the Nutella Latte and felt the nutella was way too overpowering.
I also ordered a large coffee and received a 16oz cup. (Not what you'd expect for a NYC large) and it was mediocre at best.
They hardly had any pastries in the display. But I ordered an Apple turnover that looked really good, taste was alright.
Maybe they should stick to selling their legendary pizza.

  2. We stopped in for some desserts – it became a waiting / eating room for Di Fara's Pizza whenever they have private parties. We waited to buy cannolis and the workers were not in sight so left and came back at a later time and just one cannoli was left. Decent but the experience was not so great hence 3 stars. The selection of dessert looked ok, but definitely didn't look like it had a large selection.

  3. I'm a fan due to:
    1) Their smooth espresso. No milk, sugar needed… It was really delicious.
    2) The fact that you can wait on their couch for 1 hour if you are waiting for a DiFara pie around the corner.
    3) The gossip! Just hang around for a bit and Domenic DeMarco's daughter or friend may come in and you will hear all sorts of stories about which son is planning to take over the pizza shop, who makes the best square and round pies out of Dom's kids… THAT was fun.
    4) Holding out on the 5th star until I try their Tiramisu. It was SOLD OUT…

    I will be back.
