“I had the saag paneer (spinach) and eggplant curries with basmati rice and some just baked naan on the side.”

“I would definitely recommend this in the financial district, but I wouldn't travel for it.”

“After many failed attempts at finding decent food in Fidi, this place gets 4 stars for bang for buck and better than expected taste!”

  1. Their food is tastie but they feed you like its the great depression small portions and limited chucks of veggie , lamb or meats.

They Also have a lot of catches that will run your tab up to 20buck for a basic meal because your regular meals doesn't come with those àdd ons.

I can't simply eat here.  Indian food is mostly peasant  food so why am I paying a arm and a leg?

Trust me…I feel the same way about grits.

  2. I was passing by on my way to work and stopped in for a quick to-go lunch. Their pricing is okay at a little under $10 for a meat with rice. It would be nice to have a meat and veggie option for that price.

I opted for the chicken curry since it's a solid bet at any Indian spot. The dish was a lot of rice, a lot of sauce and a few pieces of chicken. The rice was well cooked and the chicken curry was just eh. It wasn't spicy at all and not all that flavorful. It was one of the weakest chicken curries I ever had to tell you the truth.

Overall, this place didn't do it for me and I doubt I'll come back. There are many other options in the area that are far more flavorful.

  3. Their portion sizes have seriously declined – probably as a cost-cutting measure. Today I got chicken tikka masala plus rice in a container that was no bigger than a hamburger. There are 4 tiny pieces of chicken floating in all that sauce. Yes, it was $7.50. I feel kind of ripped off right now 🙁

  4. Food quality is on-par with other Indian choices in the area but i found it to be a little more expensive. A lunch combo box here is around $12 whereas I spend $9-10 on the same amount of food at other shops or Indian food trucks nearby. The food and service are good, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.

  5. This looks like a fast food place that I will never stepped in if it's not a recommendation from a friend. They have decent price for 1,2 or 3 dishes and they are all in HUGE PORTION!!

I will take it to go because I think to go portions are bigger. They have a min credit card charge of $10. I ordered 2 items and upgraded it to garlic naan for extra $2. The garlic naan is the highlight. I simply love it. I shared 4 entrees with my friend. I remembered the butter chicken, Chicken tikka Massala were all delicious with the naan. The place is clean for sit down too.

  6. Good for Lunch Buffet

I got the lamb curry, palak paneer, and roti for lunch. The roti took a few minutes to come out. Lamb curry and the palak paneer had been cooked for a long time. My only complaint is that the lamb meat was tough.

    $10

  7. The amount of food you get for $7 (one choice with rice or naan) is almost the same amount of food you get for $12 (three choices with rice AND naan), so it really depends how much variety you want and how stuffed you want to feel. Which is to say, I wish they increased the portions a little bit, since this isn't particularly cheap, but, thankfully, it is pretty tasty, and at all oily greasy goopy. Perhaps not the most zesty zippy Indian, but satisfying and comforting, made even better by a very well ventilated room with a ceiling that is covered with blowing fans.

  8. Stupidly fast delivery off seamless. (about 20 minutes)

Food came piping hot and tasty. I got the Chicken Masala with a freshly crispy roti.

My raita didn't show up though 🙁

Price was reasonable, I'll go back again.
