I can't believe that this place is not on Yelp! This is the ultimate hole in the wall spot that serves delicious Mexican food and is right next to Walgreens in Corona Plaza. I believe most of the customers here are just locals so that's why there hasn't been that much hype. Everyone who works at this restaurant speaks Spanish, even the menu is in Spanish, so it's a struggle for me ( a Vietnamese American) to communicate to them; I usually end up just pointing to stuff on the menu, and using my broken Spanish that I've managed to salvage from 4 years of learning in high school to get me by.
I work in the Walgreens next door, so this place is my pit stop for lunch breaks. I also order the tacos, mostly because it's the only section on the menu that I understand in Spanish, but also, who doesn't love tacos?? My favorites are the cecina, bistec, cabeza de res and longaniza, so I always order the same 4 whenever I am there. They flavor the meat oh so nicely and every bite is just packed full of flavors. Of course, they also throw some parsley, onions and avocados on top. The meat is very tender as well, it's not chewy like some taco meat I've tasted.
Lastly, the staff here is just really nice!! They don't understand me for sure, but they do try their best to accommodate me in every single other ways. I'll keep coming back and coming back for more tacos for sure!!
