Honestly delivery was terribly slow (1.5 hours) and my food was room temp but it is by far the most delicious, authentic, home cooked puertorican food in all of Spanish Harlem.
-Beans are not too salty and they have a nice broth.
– White rice is amazing. Chewy, al dente, fresh.
– Yuca is perfectly cooked with pickled onion. Mind you the pickled onion was such a perfect accent it didn't need "sauce".
– Pernil is everything and a gargantuan portion for leftovers. Sometimes pernil can be funky when done wrong. This is aromatic, crispy, chewy and tender. Oregano and sofrito without being greasy.
Annoying to wait but totally worth it.
Really, truly, amazing food. Best in Harlem as good as kiosko #2 in luquillo if not better.
I'll order again. Hopefully delivery will be more prompt.
