  1. I love their grandma pizza. The sauce is sweet and thick. Love the chewy salty crust.

Their plain slice is good but the crunchy things on the bottom is too much for me.

    Good for quick slice, reliable.

  2. There are SO MANY great little pizza joints in New York, but for me, this is not one of them.  Their sauce is very sweet and runny. It tasted like I remember Spaghetti-Os (by Chef Boyardee) tasting when I was a little kid. It seriously had a sweet taste and was pretty thin.

This is also a "dirtier than most" place. NY pizza places aren't exactly spotless, but when we walked in we were the ONLY customers, yet there were NO clean tables available. I started to walk to a table toward the back, but when I saw crumbs and liquid on the last table, an employee said, "Oh, I'll move that".  Thinking he was going to wipe it down for us, he simply removed the cleaning bottle and rag that were sitting on the table!  It was funny.

The entire time we were there — around 20 minutes — no one cleaned any of the tables.

I'd easily just get this pizza to go but the sauce is so yucky that I'll skip this place and keep walking next time.

  3. Solid plain slice. If you like your pizza well done and your crust crunchy, then this will be enjoyable. Not the best I've ever had but the sauce was tasty.

  4. I work around here and was looking for a decent pizza spot- FOUND IT!!!

    One slice + Fanta = 5.75

I got the mushroom sausage pizza- so crispy and tons of toppings!! Every bite I took had mushroom and sausage on it. The crust was super crispy too!!!

They have a variety of different pizza to pick from. The workers try to move the line fast so be prepared to order once it's your turn.

Some seats available but gets packed during lunch.

  5. really crowded at lunch time great cheap eats for lunch on a budget. Staff is very rushed and doesn't really attend to the customers. Pizza seems a little to greasy for my taste and you feel like its just shoved at you and you pay and get out. Dont think I will return any time soon 🙁

  6. Was here for work and while chatting with some co-workers about finding a place to eat a local business woman suggested this place. It was a good call to listen to the random stranger.

Pizza was good. The 5 of us had 7 different slices and we were all happy. Hard to sit and standing was a challenge too at about 12pm on a Friday,  For me $9.50 for a fountain soda, eggplant parm slice and a peperoni slice. Not bad.

Two complaints. One is probably an anomaly. There was a leak that made a big portion of the floor slippery,

2nd is an easy fix. My eggplant parm slice was not fully warmed up. My bet is that it was so busy that they just wanted to churn us out fast as possible.

    Two Stars

I was craving a slice and decided on this place. It smelled decent but that was the extent of it. A quasi homeless ask for a slice of cheese and clerk held one finger. Then this amazing conversation happen.

Woman: Can I have two slices?
Clerk: okay, that will be $5
Woman: I thought the slices were a dollar
Clerk: no they are two fifty
Woman: but you held up 1 finger
Clerk: I held one finger asking if you wanted 1 slice
    Woman: I only have $2

I ordered a pepperoni and sausage. The slice was okay. The crust was crispy. The sauce was sweet. The meat was salty. The cheese tasted old.

  8. I was excited to try this pizza place, as I walk by it every day. I'm always tempted to stop in and grab a slice, but never do. I finally went there one late Saturday night, hoping to satisfy my pizza craving, but found it severely disappointing.

First of all, the slices are on the higher end of the scale. I paid $3.75 for my veggie slice! I wouldn't have minded the price if I had enjoyed my meal, but the pizza was rubbery and bland. There was barely any sauce on it and the vegetables tasted old. On top of that half of the crust was soggy and the other half was too tough. The fresh mozzarella slice was much better, but the edge of the crust was still tough and unpleasant to chew.

I left with an unpleasant taste in my mouth and a greasy feeling.
