I am sorry to say, the place , generally, is deteriorating. I'd been a fan before , we stopped by often for a quick lunch, paid so many " to go" week nights visits and requested numerous catering service. I remember 8 years ago that we rented out their basement for a party. That was then.

Seldom I come to this place lately. One weekend , out of the blue after a community meeting , we decided to stop by for a quick snack. We were disappointed when we get our charges  for simple halo- halo we ordered.  A little bit pricey .

Brought home  some take out foods. The "puto" was hard and needs microwave cooking assistance to soften . The " pandesal" they were selling was a day close to its expiration day which of course I didn't noticed till I am home. I would suggest for you guys to check each item expiration date when you shop  in her little grocery. Just picked one  safe entree, the "dinuguan" to take home for that night as  it gets tastier at time goes by.

I have never ask for their catering service for a while. Friends are saying that the service gets bad as well.

I think the place needs a revamp or else it will lose its loyal customers.

So i order pork bbq skewer. It came by itself no rice. I walked into the place and the only lady behind the counter was not helpful at describing the food she had on a hot buffet. So i order what i know.
The pork itself was a $4 order. The pork was well seasoned but it was soaked in a brown sauce. The sauve actually took away from the grilled flavor of the pork but i can honestly say that i had better bbq pork in woodside queens.  It seems like the place caters to only filipino people as i was asking the lady questions and she did not seem to want to help me.
Oh well their loss. Go next door to the dominican place rice and beans and you get better food and the people are friendly.
