It was okay. Maybe I'm just more into softer/fluffy donuts so I found this one to be a lot more dense and cakey
I split the mocha/chocolate flavor and the top part was good. But without the icing (the bottom half of the donut) it was just bread to me.
Don't know if I'd make the trek out to try it again but there were a lot of people so it must be well liked amongst other donut eaters!
Dough, what a disappointment. I expected a sugary flavorful carb loaded treat, but only received the sugar and carb. What happen to the flavor? I guess I should have stuck with the basic chocolate donut from a chain store.
Matcha donut – It was lightly dusted with matcha power and sugar. What a waste of a donut. I expected an actual matcha donut that was green on both the inside and the outside.
Blood orange – The icing was good. The candied orange slice was good, but the donut itself wasn't that great. It was fluffy, but flavorless. Just plain yeast donut with icing.
Not sure if I would go back to dough. Maybe if I was seriously craving bad carbs and this was the nearest option.
Two words: HUGE DOUGHNUTS!
I finally got to try Dough yesterday. The doughnuts are fresh and are made on the premise. I was able to try a few different doughnuts since I came here with four other people. There's a big long table here and we were all able to eat and share our doughnuts.
We got the following:
1) Matcha (Sugar type)- I picked this since I love anything that's matcha/green tea related. I thought that the matcha flavor was so weak that didn't really taste it at all. I was a bit disappointed.
2) Lemon poppy- It's a light glaze doughnut with lemon flavor and sprinkled with poppy seeds. Good and I tasted the lemon.
3) Hibiscus- This is probably one of the most popular flavors based on people raving about it on Yelp. I wanted to get this one, but my friend got it. The doughnut looked too pretty to eat. It's a glazed doughnut with a sweet tangy flavoring.
4) Mocha almond crush- I liked this the most actually. It's a chocolate and roasted coffee glazed doughnut with bits almonds on top. Amazing and I loved crunchy almonds topping.
I gotta come back again one day to try other flavors. I have to make sure I have a few friends to come along with me. 🙂
Very cool staff! Went almost at closing, so I think we missed out on the hot picks but we opted for a dulce de leche & man, this was probably the best donut I've ever had! None of that fastfood dunkin donuts style dough. Everything seemed fresh and topping was flavorful without over-doing it!
I think I'll try then Doughkas next time!
I've always wanted to try a big ass donut in NY. I saw a post on FB about "dough" and their artisan donuts so I gave this place a try. The wait for this place was absolutely crazy……. It took around an hour to get to the front and I ordered one donut, the green tea one. It was such a huge donut, even two people couldn't finish it. However, it was really yummy and the perfect fluffy-ness. This place is a must go! The donuts look pretty in behind the glass 😀

My friend recommended me this place. When I looked at the donuts display, most of them are covered with icing. I didn't wanna get too heavy sweet ones, so I picked donuts hole by the cashier.
Donuts hole was only $1.5 for 4 pieces. I just wanted to taste one and took them to hotel, but it was so good and fluffy!! I just ate them all at the shop! I regret that I didn't get icing ones. They are probably good, too. Well, I'll try them next time. Espresso was very nice too!
Staff was friendly! When I asked bathroom, there is no bathroom in this shop, but he told me where the closest ones! Very nice!! I wish they had the bathroom here.
Huge, delicious, fluffy donuts. My favorite is the toasted coconut. I know people go crazy for the hibiscus flavor, which I enjoyed as well. They have tables inside too if you don't want to take your donuts to go!
From a doughnut aficionado, Dough is the tits. Had their doughnuts at the Smorgusburgh event in Prospect Park in Brooklyn and wish I would've taken a dozen home. Delightfully delicious doughnuts!
