  1. I was lucky to find a bottle of super expensive lotion my dermatologist told me to get.  It also cost significantly more here than at my local Duane Reade in Queens.  A little sparse & overpriced but that seems to be the norm for any Duane Reade in Manhattan.

  2. Store #14409

This Duane Reade (now Walgreens) is smaller than the newly renovated Duane Reade's.  It does not contain a bakery within nor a frozen food department, and surely no prepared foods as sandwiches on-the-go for the New York State of Mind.  However, it does carry a limited Walgreens brand name since the acquisition for its pharmacy department.  Attending to my workplace injuries, I was gravely disappointed for the lack of name brands as Johnson & Johnson and very limited selection, Curad brand for bandages and first aid cream/antibiotic.  With inflation in conjunction of today's ailing economy, first aid cream/antibiotic was always increasingly expensive as ever amount to $6.29 and Walgreens watershield bandage at an utter $4.49.

Morning rush hour queue moves quickly amid the cashier was yapping away into her handheld speaker for a personal call on her cell phone while issuing my change and receipt.
