As far as Pharmacy/General stores in Manhattan go, I was pleasantly surprised with this location. The selection was great, the staff was helpful (they guided me to certain items I needed), and it was spotless. I was tired after my trip to NYC, and within 20 minutes (10 minutes walking to and from, and 10 minutes in the store) I was stocked up with all of the toiletries I didn't bring with me on my trip.
P.S. The line was fairly long (6-7 people), but it moved EXTREMELY fast.
I work across the street and go here frequently enough to know all of their full time cashiers. They are sweet as pie to me and always fix any coupon/circular/point issues I have. The best part is they do this for all of their customers. The manager with dreadlocks also knows me and one time really helped me when a gift card wasn't processing properly.
Don't get me wrong. They have some super ghetto staff whom I avoid. But they're usually stocked really well and the store is laid out decently.

I love this Duane Reade!
