Not all Dunkin' Donuts are the same. Inequality in pricing. Inequality in customer service. Inequality in food quality. Franchise makes the corporation dilute in these areas with loss of control.
A combo should be one set price which includes one drink, the breakfast sandwich, one side for a set price. In theory and in myth yes, but not in actual practice in reality especially in a large abrasive metropolitan as New York City. Staff plays games as the "Bait and Switch" in sales with the customer for sketchy pricing tactics + communication game. I was overcharged. All the components to my order was priced individually not by the combo as a set. My hot Green tea was served stone COLD and I did not request sugar but sugar is automatically embedded in all coffees and teas. Green tea in Asian culture is traditionally served WITHOUT any condiments to taint the natural tea leaves. Very limited seating. Filthy console ledge with stools. Breakfast in the wee morning hours before going to court for work was already abject PAIN before the day began.
This location sits in Bronx's Grand Concourse near Yankee Stadium and court buildings.
This Dunkin is 24 which is great. It's never too early or too late for coffee. The service here is pretty good and consistent. The staff will do their best to make your coffee taste good and be exactly what you ordered.
You typically don't have to wait too long on line here. If there are two or more customers in the store another associate will quickly jump on the second register to take your order. I appreciate that considering I'm usually on my way to or from the 4 train when getting my coffee. It's a time saver for sure.
Lastly they have had my flavor bagel available each time I've ordered it so far. I mention this because I've been at Dunkins in other locations and have had to order my backup or back up to my back up bagel selection.
