  1. I'm not really a Dunkin Donuts guy.  The coffee is weak and has a weird flavor.  But, I go there because I refuse to drive over the hill into Montclair and the local bagel shops and deli's are too inconsistent.  I think they've kept me coming back because a couple times a year I binge on doughnuts, and about once a month I need a bagel sandwich in the middle of the night.

I don't think the parking is too bad.  They have 10 – 12 spots.  That's pretty good for a coffee shop.  Granted, I never go there during the morning rush.  This DD has been there for as long as I can remember, at least 30 years I'd say.  They still do a ton of business, so they must be doing something right.

  2. Food-wise, it's great. Donuts are fresh, sandwiches are good, drinks are perfect, & they haven't made a mistake on any of my orders yet.

I feel like they may not be equipped for the larger crowds that come with such a prominent location. It's a small shop, and it seems like they get overwhelmed pretty easily. I've been in & out in under 5 mins on a good day, and I've waited for a croissant sandwich for over 10 mins on a moderately busy day.

Our most recent visit was chaotic. There was a long line out the door, and a couple people turned back when they saw how many people were waiting. The man who took our order was multitasking and kept doing other things while we tried to order, and rushed us through; then, it turned out he under-charged us for our donuts because we wanted two specialty flavors. I don't mind the extra cost, but it would've been easier for him if he heard us the first time!

Ultimately, I like coming here for a breakfast treat on weekends, but I don't think I would risk it if I was in a rush on a Saturday morning.

(Note: I've never parked in the lot, because it's always super crowded. It seems like most people park across the street at CVS, and I would recommend the same. At least there are crosswalks!)
