Worst DD ever.
Cant even list the problems but I will try.
Lack of daily management. Register rings up the wrong prices When you are entitled to a special price the register does not recognize it Made a complaint to corporate DD office about this store and the return follow up call came from some one with such a heavy accent I could not even understand him. I called back and no answer. The donuts always look stale and I tried one and they were stale. Coffee was bitter, needed to ask for more milk and was given attitude. When you have an issue your told "the manager is not here" Bathrooms are ok, other than that, ugh, buyer beware.
THIS one, however, has the old school Glen Cove Italian 'family business' guys always chillin here – if you know what I mean. Swing by in the morning and you'll see all sorts of sick, imported rides, and an entire store full of seriously old school italian men. I'm talking pinkie-ring-wearing-cologne-dousing-tailored-suit-wearing-soccer-watching-Italian-as-a-first-language-Italian men.
Definitely a hit or miss. For some reason, the half the staff are full of life and they're happy while the other half enjoy ruining your coffee! Just kidding… but how can you hear "not a lot of ice" or "easy on the ice please" as "POUR IN ALL THE ICE YOU HAVE!!!!!"????
Anyways, depends on the time you go, donuts can be stale and old.. just sad! As for the breakfast menu, I'd suggest asking them to make you a fresh batch of hash browns unless you want to choke on a really old piece – trust me, you'll feel them scratching down your throat. Taste test before you leave! Yes, it's a DND but I'm warning you now so you won't choke! Also, it happened like 1 out of the 5 times I've ordered.
They recently renovated this DND so it looks a lot nicer than it did before. Definitely looks a lot cleaner. They changed things around so it looks like there's definitely more seating than they did before.
Seemingly nothing wrong with this DD, minus the cold brew being absolutely horrid. Whether that's just today, this store, or what, I can't tell you. I've been here other times and everything is up to DD standards. It's a standalone location, so it's a bit less crowded than other stores. Parking is ample and the signs are hard to see, so be on the lookout after the train tracks and BK Lounge. Falling asleep? Come on out. Starbucks is another half mile away 🙂
The coffee is terrible, no flavor and is as much as Starbucks. I also had some egg white flat bread thing that was stale and awful. Go to Starbucks instead and get a coffee and a turkey bacon sandwich.

Bonus: combo store with Baskin Robbins
