  1. Brand new location, so still nice and clean and the employees aren't sick of life yet.

Other than that, same as any of the other five Dunkin' Donuts you can go to on any given block in the city. Dunkin' coffee is pretty bad though. You are better off going around the corner to Financier and paying a dollar or so more.

Super convenient if you live in The Financial District and are too lazy to walk a block to the one on Maiden Lane. They have free wi-fi too, which could come in handy next time Time Warner cable goes down again for days.

  2. In search of a Starbucks while in the Wall Street area, I stumbled into this D&D and decided to drop my search for the Starbucks.  They have really clean facilities and they aren't a very large location, about 5-6 tables for two and then some window seats.

Ordered myself a peach-flavored ice tea (unsweetened) and the reduced fat blueberry muffin.    I haven't tried the peach-flavored ice tea before so I was surprised to find it so full of flavor and refreshing.  This is a perfect summer drink if you want to cool things down.  The reduced fat blueberry muffin was enjoyable, but I deducted a star because the guy behind the counter gave me the ugliest looking one of the bunch.  These two items only rang me up to a little over $3 (under $10 seems to be rather unheard of in this neck of the woods).

I also enjoyed the music that was playing.  The tunes playing are reflective of a hot hip-hop/r&b night out in a poppin' Meatpacking District club.  Really revs up energy levels and kept me goin' at my paper full-speed for the hour I stayed here.

  3. I like this location. It's close to work and they manage the line quickly.  The cashiers are patient while I try to figure out what I want!

  4. Quick and no lines (except in the weekday mornings)  Very friendly staff.  They sometimes try to put cheese on my breakfast sandwich but I watch them like a hawk and yell out to stop the madness!

  5. This Dunkin' Donuts is a reminder of why I'm willing to pay more at a specialty coffee shop. It's just an all around unpleasant experience coming in this DD. The lines are always super long between 8:30-9:30am. The baristas scream "CAN I HELP YOU?" before the customer in front of you even finishes paying, so they NEVER hear your order and end up asking you to repeat it 2-3x as you get closer. Their mission is clear: get you out of there quickly. If that means messing up your order a bit, no one seems to care. I come in here ONLY when I'm craving a warm cup of Dunkin'. If not, I'll choose one of the 20 other coffee shops nearby who seem to be remotely concerned about the customer experience.
