Although the coffee is still amazing, and that is the only reason why I come here, the donuts are old and the service is bad.
The people are all crammed because its a whole in the wall, but no one bothers to get out of the way or make room for anyone else. So you are forced to push your way to the front and order your coffee and donuts.
The upstairs dining area is packed and there is never any room to sit. I took my coffee and donut to-go and sat outside on a bench in front of the Macys on 34th st…which i think is quite fun since I can people watch while i sip my coffee in the brisk fall air.
