Although this restaurant had a pretty poor rating, I noticed that they were mostly complaints about the take-out service, and many reviews said the food was good. I figured I would give it a shot and hopefully contribute to raising their rating despite their poor delivery service.
The place is very spacious and nice. There is a little sushi bar as well as many tables for diners. However, there was not a single diner in the building which was a bit suspicious…
The menu had a wide variety of options and the specialty dishes all sounded amazing. I ordered the pork and shrimp hunan and an avocado salad.
The avocado was huge, maybe even a little too big, but nonetheless it was tasty. The problem was with the pork and shrimp. For some reason my father's entree came out before mine by about 5 minutes. When mine came, I took a bite into my shrimp and found that it was almost completely raw! It seems like maybe they forgot about my dish and rushed to make it last second? I don't know. Our waitress was apologetic and sent it back to the kitchen and brought back the exact same plate (I could tell that the pork hadn't been touched) which means they either put my half-eaten shrimp back in the pan (which seems unsanitary to me?) or threw the plate in the microwave. The sauce tasted suspiciously different when it came out. It was pretty horrid… I couldn't even eat it. It tasted like ketchup.
Although I had no problems with the service, and the presentation was lovely, I just don't think I could stomach another meal here again.
This is one of the most reasonable price sushi spots in all of westchester. Sushi is half priced on certain days I believe and their food is very good. If you want to try the lobster in ginger sauce it is really amazing but messy. They also have a pork noodle soup which is awesome and I really love. They also have the best pork fried rice I have ever had tell them you want extra pork and extra egg with the rice and trust me you will be glad you had it.
When you crave your favorite Chinese dishes, there's a specific food memory you go back to. For me, it's chicken broccoli and fried rice and this place hit the nail on the head with meeting that specific food memory, a great lunch special and good quality chicken, nothing super healthy but definitely a great Chinese the way we think of Chinese
I have been eating here for years. I always get my regular faves from the sushi menu, like California rolls, salmon skin hand rolls, shrimp tempura rolls and ebi (shrimp) sushi. I love that they allow me to substitute brown rice in my sushi.
They have a great pre fixe menu that includes the entree with rice, an egg roll and a soup for just $12.95. The best part is that even though they are priced well, the food does not suffer. The General Tso chicken is actually chicken and not just fried dough. The serving is so much that most nights we have take home containers after our meal.
The staff is so nice. My family and I are regulars so they know us and they treat us just as well as the first day we walked in and asked for a table.
Go for lunch, you'll get the cheapest sushi around. Half price before 4 pm everyday, and mondays and wednesdays is half price sushi all day!
And everyone is so friendly here! I always walk in and they remember my face.
There's parking next to the building, and it's never over crowded.
And get the fried ice cream. Yes, fried ice cream.
