First off, Logan (reviewer below), is rating East Pacific in the Staten Island Mall, this place has a similar looking logo, but is located on Amboy Road in the shopping center next to a pet shop.
Second, I find it hard to give a place like this a poor rating. The fish was definitely fresh, I had salmon sushi and a special roll, bother were tasty and the special roll was of a pretty good size. To me this place falls in the same category as Nakata on Richmond Road and Mitoushi on the other Richmond Ave. – semi-affordable and reliable decent sushi.
The service was impersonal, but it is just a take-out place. There are only a few tables to sit at if you wish to stay – and they don't have a public bathroom.
If 3.5 existed that would be my actual rating, but considering my food was made quickly and there are no .5 stars, 4 it is.
