The "bathroom for customers only!!!" sign and the redundant "out of order" sign set the mood.
The cold sesame noodles were pretty good (there's also a hot version, not sure if there any differences other than temperature.) The peanut-type sauce was in a clump on the side which seemed unusual at first but worked out well since it provided a chance to experience the ingredients both solo and combined.
Ribs were perhaps too sweet and a tiny bit overcooked but I liked them better as they went along.
Solid place for take out or delivery. They carry the standard option you'd find on any local Chinese food place and they do a bit better than other places in the area. They use fresh ingredients it shows in the final product.
On most most recent trip I ordered the din Sum which is always good. Nice thick dough (?) and fresh meat filling. It's always a winner. I also got the Singapore rice noodle. It's always filled with Shrimp and pork and the spices hit the spot. I also got the double cooked pork which I didn't like too much because of the flavor, but it was still fresh.
The person who takes your order is always friendly and the delivery is always quick. A $15 order usually gets you a few cans of soda too. When your in the mood for some cheap eats, this may very well be your spot.
The delivery is very fast for the area and they are on Seamless ($15 minimum – ugh)
The food is ok at best. I bet that it's not as delicious as your usual take-out spot, but if you must order on seamless and need it to be delivered quickly this is a considerable option.
Shrimp with lobster sauce is ok. Pretty salty, but it works out. Sometimes they will forget to give you the brown rice that you asked for.
Lo mein and other noodle options are too lacklustre. (Order from Mian, because noodles are their thing)
Their wontons are icky. I had the Szechuan wontons and they were far from what any Chinese person would even think of eating. Gross. Nope. Avoid.
Food is pretty inexpensive. Quality is meh-ok. Delivery is fast. Lots of hit-or-misses.
