  1. Came here after looking on yelp for something within 5 miles of my house that I haven't had a million times. I recall my brother recommending it to me so my wife and I decided to give it a shot. Plenty of vegetarian options made it an exciting prospect for many more meals to come.
I had the Spicy Kofta Pita while my wife had a Falafel and hummus plate. A buddy that came with us had the Half Shwarma Half Shnitzel Lafa. I ripped a piece of his Lafa bread off to make sure it wasn't poisoned for him and It wasn't. it was tasty as well. All the food was very tasty.

We all ordered our food spicy and this is something the gentlemen (Eddie himself) took notice of. He brought us out a complimentary sample of some picked veg that had a nice kick to it. Just a small sampling since we were first time customers who seemed to be looking for something different with a bit of heat.

After our meal we talked with Eddie for a bit about how they have a lot of vegetarian items and he told us about how much he makes sure there is no cross contamination between meat and non meat items. It seems like common sense, but you'd be surprised. Things like using different grills/spatulas/fryers for meat and non meat items means a lot to my wife so this was nice to see someone putting in the effort. During this conversation is when Eddie told my wife he didn't really give her the spicy hummus. He gave her a hummus with the lighter of spiciness between the two he offers…that's not really too cool. When three people walk in and order everything spicy as possible I don't know why you would dumb down the heat. That  being said my friend that owns a restaurant told me he's always dumb down the spice on patrons first visits after having too many send backs from people who can't handle what they order. I get it, but don't flat out tell me you undermined me.

    3 stars because:
-For the $9 sandwich price range I feel like I should get a little something on the side. Fries or a salad(other then the Israeli salad inside the sandwich) or something to go with it.
-You undermined me and told me about it
    – I'm not for ambiance, but this place is bare bones minimum. Really all about the food and while that is a good thing; I get an odd vibe sitting in such a hollowed out space to eat.
