I have been avoiding this place for a long time solely based on Yelp reviews. However, I was starving after work and really wanted to go to an Asian buffet that I haven't been to before. So I took another look at Yelp and Flamedrinker's review pretty much swayed me to give it a shot.
Negatives first. –I didn't even expect to see sushi, but what they had was a joke. –There were styrofoam bowls by the soup section. Now that's a first. –The selection is quite limited – even considering the price. Fruits consisted of only bananas and honeydew. –There's a bit of an overall icky feeling from the utensils to the food. The spaghetti they had was some noodles sitting in what looked like watery tomato sauce. This is not a not a quality place by any stretch. China Buffet in South Plainfield is slightly more expensive but the quality and cleanliness is so much better. –This seems like a popular stop for Chinese tour buses. There was one crowd of people leaving as I was entering and another that came in as I was almost done. It wasn't a problem for me, but I could see how it might get quite crowded and the food wasn't being replenished quickly.
Now positives. –The lo mein was really good. Possibly the best I ever had at a buffet. –After tax it was only $7.50 for dinner. Now you can't beat that in Edison. Unlimited lo mein, General Tso's chicken, broccoli, hot and sour soup… for $7.50 actually sounds like quite a steal.

This place is pretty bad. Selection is very limited and the food is OK. I gave it to Star is because the waitresses or prompt and courteous.
