I had the Mexican fried rice with fried chicken. Some of the rice was pretty hard and it was chock full of diced, completely RAW onions. C'mon, really? Not even red onions, but the stronger white ones. I feel like I just ate an entire raw onion and my breath is rank right now. The chicken was okay. U get 3 pieces. 2 were normal and one was that lonely leftover piece that has a strange color to it that no one really wants. Clearly I will no longer trust my coworkers food suggestions after this. I'd be open to trying the empanada or taco there as perhaps that's the way to go, but I'm going to have to wait for this rather unpleasant 1st try to fade in my memory a bit first.
Did I order wrong? Two tacos: lengua (tongue) and cesina (salted beef). There was nothing to write about. I was starving so anything decent would have pleased me, easily. But the meats were bland and the sauce was so watery….
Maybe it was an off day for the kitchen, maybe I have been having the wrong tacos elsewhere….
