It was just chicken and salad.. But if was the best chicken and salad I've had in recent memory! The menu is more for Families as opposed to individuals. However, I was told there are specials M-F.
Fresh, Flavorful, Delicious!
Like the old expression goes. "Kiss The Cook". Well, I tried but her husband wouldn't let me. El Iman Restaurant in Elizabeth N.J is as authentic Peruvian as it gets. Very big place with lots of seating. I had the "Bistak A Lo Poble" and it was excellent. It's a skirt steak that was tender not tough at all, and was well seasoned. It came with sweet plantains that were done just right, Soft but not too sweet, a Side of white rice and a small salad. Their french fries were oily not crispy But if you are familiar with Peruvian style food thats how fries are served. I chose an Inka Kola as my drink. For those of you who dont know what that is. It's a Peruvian soda that's a must have that tastes like Pineapple and it's very refreshing.
