The Short Rib Burrito was just ok ($9.25). The rice was pretty undercooked and it was mostly tortilla instead of filling.
They also have tacos, which may be better without that poorly cooked rice, as well as some sides like rice & beans and nachos. It's a tiny space with a few stools along the side for seating. With a lot of other quick grab and go spots in the neighborhood that are much more satisfying, it's tough to justify coming back here.
Yes! I love that these guys are here for two reasons:
1. When drinking at Iggy's you finally have another option for someone to walk your food right up to your bar stool besides Mikey's Burger and 2. They finally ousted those creperie traitors. There is only ONE creperie and they are across the street and have been there forever, OK?
I got four tacos and guacamole during the first week or so that they opened. All the ingredients were super fresh, and their salsas are really nice and flavorful. The short rib and fish tacos were my favorites.Nicely cooked, quality meat and fish. I thought the carnitas was a little on the dry side but for a spot that just opened their second location I was really impressed. I love drunk food options!
The space is small but there are about a handful of seats with slim, walled tables to eat on. The customer service was very friendly even at late hours so that is a plus.
I ordered the short rib taco and the beer battered cod. I felt that the beer battered cod had a nice soft, crunchy texture. Flavor wise it was okay. I was better with the wedge of lime and the sauces they provided really didn't compliment it. The short rib though was a little too salty that it kinds of masks the flavor of the meat. Now, I wasn't exactly sober but I remember being thirsty the minute I walked out of there.
I probably would have to update when I visit again hopefully sober this time.

I think the tacos was good.
Mind blowing good? No. But satisfying? Yes.
