I'm a big fan of rice and beans, fried sweet plantains, and avocado. Maybe that's why I didn't understand ex-gf. She was very selective about her food. She only likes what she likes. She was not an adventurous eater. I don't think the food here is exotic. We came here for dinner because she tried an Argentinan empanana at work and wanted her fix. I told her that we could try the Colombian version here. She pretty much did not like anything I ordered. It was very disheartening that she was disgusted by avocados and beans. I do consider the empanadas from pan pizza the best Colombian empanadas ever but she didn't like the ones here.
I like this place a lot. I just don't come here because of the neighborhood. I stand out like a sore thumb.
