Elegante Pizzeria
“At Elegante, the squares are DENSE and have a ton of cheese; seriously, they are like 6-7 ounces per square due to the density and cheese content.”
“While we were waiting we got to watch the guys make pizza and talk to some younger kids who had just gotten out of school.”
“The ventilation isn't superb, but it does lock in the wonderful smell of pizza being made – so wonderful in the cold days.”

It's been 10 years since the first time I came here and their pizza never disappoints! You can not forget about their garlic sticks either. A slice of pizza and an order of garlic sticks is my default order. Can't forget the mozzarella sauce on the side! It makes the best dipping sauce for the garlic sticks. If you have never tried it, you should :)! My friend introduced to me and I'm so thankful that she did.
The restaurant has a good amount of seating. It's super clean. I recently found out it opens till late also (approximately till 12:30am). How awesome! The service is excellent here. The owner is so super nice.
Best square pie in Brooklyn. Period.
My go to spot for some local pizza.
No offense to papa johns, dominos, Pizza Hut, etc., but Local pizzeria pizza always tastes better, in my opinion. They take the time and effort to make a good pizza.
I enjoy this pizzeria. The smell of fresh pizza being made is oh so good.
The pizza here is pretty good here. I usually get a regular pizza slice from here. It tastes great. Tasty and a quick bite.
I enjoy the service here too. The guys who work there are always friendly.
This pizzeria is typical of most places in Bay Ridge. The slices are a little to oily based upon the cheese they use. And when you get to the sicilian ( square ) it is just ok. Could use some more cheese. When I am hungry and need a bite I stop in, so they just barely pass. I mean come on, how could you fuck up a pizza pie.
Grandma Pizza $21
My friends bought a breach house in Rockaway Beach and lunch, after we arrived, was squared pizza that's reminiscence of Di Farra in Brooklyn. Usually pizza I like is a thin crisp pizza, Roman style and with anchovies. The char of that crust and soft-smoky pizza was quiet nice. Mozzarella was especially tasty.
Old school pizzeria with yummy pizza. I love when you come in to a good pizzeria and they have a fresh, hot batch of Sicilians. Yum! Pizza here is dam good. place is clean and they have a TV with plenty of seats. Slices are tasty too!
The rating here may not reflect it, but I liked this place. The guy making the pizza behind the counter, the way he worked the dough, the size of the slices…there was plenty to like. But unfortunately, the pizza itself was not as good as it could've been.
First off, the pizza is a bit doughy; this isn't always a bad thing, but the dough was pretty unremarkable. Not bad, just kind of average. The guy didn't put quite enoguh sauce on the pizza (at least relative to the cheese), but what was there was good. The cheese was definitely good quality, but that and the crust dominated the pie. But even if it was balanced better, the overall taste of it wasn't good enough to have it be a great slice.
Del Mar, Amore's, Luigi's…those are great slice places. This place is above average for a neighborhood place, but not on their level. I see some good reviews here though for the sicilian, so maybe I'll go back and try that sometime.
Solid, traditional NY slice. It can be a little doughier than I like but it's still good pizza. If I lived in the area I could see myself ordering from here, and it's definitely better than Nino's.
