This pub is the best! The owner is on hand to share the history and stories of the pub, and the food is as awesome as pub food comes!
I had the Andrew Wilkow just as we were getting ready to go in his show! That was pretty cool! The owner had is sign our book and said he was going to post it there on his wall, so we were thrilled!
The fries are amazing and everyone loved their food!
Perfect after work spot. Great drinks and appetizers! Duffy is one of the best bartenders on the planet. Absolutely love going here!
A typical bar. A watering hole, in a great location, but does not really feature notable food. Its a bar. its liquid dinner. I'll ingest my calories on way or the other.
I think this is a meet-me kinda place. Its easy to get to, the bar is right by the door. You can have a beer here while waiting for friends to show up and head on out. Perfect for that purpose.
Its a bar with lots of beer, but limited top-shelf whisky. I don't get it. Why can't they put a few better bottles up there. This is a great location , and plenty of business dinners and folks from the office. They had the regular Macs and Lags, but that's about it.
Anyhoo… food is kinda meh. Drinks is ok.
We loved this place. Like time stopped and you're in this old Irish Pub. The bartender was attentive and had great conversation( a lot in common with me). We chatted, got tanked before Wickd on Broadway (across the street), had some good pub food. Huge place, big bar, lots of wood and lights. No complaints anywhere. Even got a shirt….
A round of drinks pre-theater was comfortable, flawless, and fairly-priced. This is a big place that I'd come back to. We paid 9 per drink (Jameson's neat, sauvignon blanc). Keep it as a go-to.
Emmitt O'Lunneys is about as average as you can get. Nothing great, nothing horrible. Nondescript yet gets the job done. Good place for a few beers and hanging out after work with colleagues. Better choices though in the area.
I went here for drinks with colleagues and there is a decent selection of draft beers but not a huge selection. The bartenders were attentive. I stuck w lagunitas IPA. It's a good and convenient bar near midtown but also one of many
Review reflects bar service only
Stopped in for a quick beer before heading out and settled on a draft Guiness and Magners Irish Cider. Both beers were $8 each, which is apparently the going rate for draft beer near Times Square. Bottled beer will cost you $6. Both beers were poured accurately, not too much head on the Guiness.
We had a male bartender primarily, he was training a female bartender and they were both attentive and informative. Learned a few tips for our stay in NYC and service was prompt.
The establishment itself was nice and open, dimly lit and resembled most pubs I've been to.
