  1. Wow a must have for home made Korean food, I had the bulgogi over rice which was not oily like must places, they mastered the non oily Bolgogi my hat goes it to the chef. Mariel had one of the best stone bibimbap out of little Korea way. I can see why queens is starting to kill Chinatown in Manhattan

  2. I ordered take out as i needed to go back to my company to work since we were returning from a trade show and decided to stop by as I wanted meat and rice to eat. Chose the spicy chicken and waited for 10-15 minutes for them to prepare it. Once the food was ready, the cashier/kind lady packed it for me in a giant bag and included wrapped utensils.

Was pretty happy once I sat down to eat once I got back to my company as I was hungry! Once i tasted the first bit of spicy chicken, I swooned at the taste. I love spicy food so was pretty satisfied. Also fell in love with their salad that they included. Side dishes were interesting and tasty. They included 2 side dishes and the small clear containers with soup. Pretty decent amount for $9.00 + tax.

Will definitely go back for more food, probably pork or bulgogi!

  3. This is a cute mom-and-pop eatery outside of one of the H-Marts on Northern Blvd. I snapped a photo of the awning only because "teehee, emo korean family!" – then decided I was kind of hungry. (FYI, "emo" means aunt.)

They have a variety of hot meals for $8-10 and a sit-down area in the back. I went for the more portable hot steamed bun. $2. Choose from fillings such as: kimchi, bulgogi, pumpkin, blueberry (?!), etc.

My kimchi bun was pretty big, and VERY generously stuffed. The "kimchi" filling does have meat in it (ground pork), plus glass noodle, and a nice mild spice – but no big chunks of cabbage like I was hoping. It was still fresh and hot and fluffy. Definitely hit the spot on a cold day.

$10 credit minimum. If you're here during daylight on a weekend, the buns are a great supplement to the food sample adventure waiting for you at H-Mart next door.  😉

  4. I came here with the bf after stopping by the H-Mart for a quick meal.  I ordered the tonkatsu.  The portion was enormous and I had to share some with the bf.  The tonkatsu was freshly fried and perfectly crispy.  They give you lots of banchan to go with your meal too.  Decent price and food.

  5. The best seafood pancake ever. Beats all those fancy schmancy ktown restaurants. Pancakes were fluffy and fully loaded with seafood. Portions were huge and prices are super reasonable.  The hot stone bibimbap was actually flavorful unlike many others I've tried before. Even though there was a language barrier, our waitress was still able to keep a smile on her face and helped as much as she can.
