Chinese food doesn't mean just egg rolls and deep frieds and steamed rice with veggies. I suggest you just skip out on those fake chinese food and go to China to eat the real thing!!!
My cousin really likes this place… She ordered here about five times and thought the stuff here was good and reasonable to me I thought it was mediocre…it's just Americanized Chinese food… I didn't actually purchased anything here but I ate some of her takeout one time and thought it was really greasy and the sauce was kinda overwhelming… And Not in a good way…
This place is like a fast food restaurant… The place is nice and clean… You had a few seating areas… you wait while they finish cooking and pick up your food in a tray …find a seat….then enjoy…..this place Just opened only a few years ago so the place looked like a mini clean diner… Other then the place looking nice and clean …the food doesn't stand out as much as the restaurant itself…huge parking lot!
I've ordered delivery here while at work a few times and recently dined in for the first time. First of all, the menu is huge and has a lot of unique offerings (especially with delivery available). As others have said, the prices are a bit high and some of the dishes are hit or miss. That being said, I find that the portions are pretty big and the dishes that are a hit are very, very good. The restaurant is clean and I've always gotten very good service. The steamed shrimp dumplings are huge and very fresh. The volcano beef was also really good, as was the pineapple fried rice. The noodle soups I've tried were all very good, large portions and very filling. I've also had the grilled Thai chicken bento box and it was just alright. Expensive, but huge. The chicken, as another reviewer noted, was pretty dried out and tasteless. The spring rolls were good but a little on the greasy side. The fried rice was delicious. I'm giving four stars because the food that I have enjoyed here has been really good. I'm also a little picky when it comes to Asian cuisine, and I prefer Empire East to other local take out.
