Espresso 77
“In keeping with the small-city coffeeshop tradition Espresso 77 has changing exhibitions of works by local artists.”
“Everything is what some people would consider "pricey" but it's not McDonalds or your house, i.e. where you should go if you want a $3 "latte" or sandwich.”
“I also had my coconut kiss iced coffee and it was a very satisfying breakfast.”

My go-to place for coffee near me. Can you tell since I bother to check in? I don't really get any specialty drinks, but on crazier days, get the medium coffee to go. I am very particular about the quality of coffee that I'm okay with a pricier cup. Really great quality coffee, hot or iced. Nice staff too! My friend and I who have been here a few times love the place and their iced dirty chai is also exceptionally good.
The immediate area is in need of cafes such as Espresso 77. It is a nice break from Starbucks and enjoy some authentic coffee. My companion and I come here while strolling around the neighborhood for a summer morning coffee runs time to time. We tried a few items here: Honeybee Latte, Cappuccino, and Cold Brew.
Honeybee Latte is a combination of honey and vanilla flavors. It was pretty good at first but it gets sweeter and sweeter as I take more sips. Perhaps, it was not mix very well. Cappuccino is acceptable and nicely crafted. Flavor of the coffee is really good but just a bit plain. Cold Brew is by far my favorite drink here. I love the richness of it since it was very well concentrated.
For a neighborhood cafe, it is worth a while but perhaps a little smile on their faces can help them go a longer way.
The 1st thing about customer service is treating your customer with respect. I was recommended that this place was a great spot for coffee and quite study time. I drove from Forest hills to be told 1hr 30 min later that this establishments does not allow laptops / screens on the weekend and that I have a 2 hour limit? What did I walk into!
I recommend posting this information on your website and a large advertisement should be displayed for customers to read.
I order 2 large raspberry ice teas and a turkey wrap, the turkey was processed meat and not an enjoyable experience. Management please see my meal pic below.
30 minutes later i decide to order a large honeybee and a gluten free cookies when the barista tries to belittle me with her attitude. I was in totally in shock after all I did purchase 2 Ice teas a Turkey wrap and now a honey bee and gluten free cookie. I was so confused what did I do to deserve this? I recommend Soft skills training for your staff. I totally understand people have bad days but please don't take it out on a paying customer.
Unfortunately their is no 0 star rating.
Good coffee and desserts. They have a limited space and it's usually crowded here during the weekends.
If you're going to have "espresso" in the name of your establishment you should at least sell beverages that come close to tasting like they've seen a coffee bean. My boyfriend and I have had a variety of coffee drinks from this place and they all are weak sauce. As in, I recently had an cold brew there and it tasted like watery milk. Such a shame because they do have a nice ambiance and I like to hang out in and support local businesses. I hang out in JH a lot even though I don't live there, and will sadly be searching for and waiting for a coffee shop to come in with coffee that tastes like and acts like real coffee.
I came here on a Saturday afternoon, it was bitter cold and was looking for a place to meet up with a friend that was warm. This is a cute coffee shop 5 minutes from the train. When you walk in there are signs posted everywhere that it's a screen free zone during certain times on weekdays and all the time on weekends. So for those of you looking to get some work done here on your laptops, make sure you check the times you can do this. Honestly, I like that they have that sign because we were able to find a seat, which we wouldn't have been able to do otherwise. I don't like the seating on the way to the bathroom, people bump into you constantly, so when another seat opened up the barrista helped us move our stuff which I thought was really nice. The brownies we had were the salted caramel and the marshmallow. They were good, but not crazy good.
AWESOME little cafe in the heart of peaceful section of Jackson Heights. Their cappuccino is amongst the finest I've had in New York, the milk they use is super fresh and the espresso is very good quality. I love the neighborhoody vibe to this place and the fact they have Live Music nights and the staff seems to really care about being part of the community. The staff is also super friendly and there's no hipster douche attitude you get in alot of coffeeshops (I'm looking at you, Brooklyn).
A smallish place with some decent snacks. Had their New Orleans coffee and it was just ok. Nothing particularly amazing about it. Wifi wasn't very good. A few seats are designated as "no laptops".
