In the interest of full disclosure, I will tell you that we were here for a private event. No menu, pre-ordered hand passed apps and then salad and a pasta dish at a help yourself buffet.
Some of the apps were OK, some were awesome (grilled shrimp, chicken chunks). The bar (and yes, I'm from the burbs) had some great spirits and they made me a great Manhattan. You don't find that in many places is Westchester.
The staff was all friendly including when my wife got a "corked" glass of wine. I pity the person before us that ordered Pinot Noir and drank that awful stuff. When will people learn!
I'd love to see what the regular menu looks (and tastes) like.
5 stars all the way, so many great dishes here, from the charcuterie options to some wonderful grilled seafood dishes. This place is amazing! They have some fantastic cocktails, some really creative stuff.
We had a disappointing night here. After making a reservation we were sat at a pretty bad table, kind of out of sight in the corner. Maybe that's why we were ignored by the server for around 30 minutes before anyone took our order? In any case, the meal was pricey and the food was solidly average. We had a pretty decent burratta appetizer, which I'd definitely recommend, but my Caesar salad tasted like it came from a boxed kit they bought at Safeway–two weeks ago. It's a lovely area of Tribeca, set back on cobble-stone streets with a great front porch seating area, so I might return for a drink outdoors, but skip it for a meal–you can do better.
I came here for a work lunch and it was perfection. A simple, but yummy menu and bright atmosphere.
We had made a reservation, only upon arrival it was pretty much empty – so not necessary. Everyone inside was super nice and attentive. Everyone's sandwiches were served on some seriously tasty bread… but mine was by far the best. I ordered the soucera and let me tell you, I chose well. Sopresatta and blue cheese with red peppers on a ciabatta roll. I made the mistake of going halvsies, so while I was only able to enjoy half of it, I was also able to try another: Only, I couldn't tell you about it because it wasn't memorable.
Moral of this story: If you find yourself in Tribeca, stop in for the soucera sandwich.

The service was very fast – we got two of the salads and a pasta dish. The portion were a perfect size, not too much.
I definitely recommend this place!
The food at dinner was good (our table liked the mussels and calamari appetizers, people liked their pizzas), but service was a little spacey — it took far too long and 3 too many requests to get a couple of additional wineglasses. And I suffered from order regret — I got one of the specials, which was a misguided mixed seafood platter that was just way too massive for one person — with a price to match.
I was here last night and I absolutely LOVED the atmosphere. This is what I would view as a quintessential New Yorky locals place. We walked in around 7:30 on a Wednesday evening and decided to sit in the back to have some privacy. The tables outside were full and there were people at the bar and at the tables in front but we had almost the entire back area to ourselves. The service was great as they weren't too pushy. We were gabbing away and didn't even look at the menu for the first 20 minutes so the girl would just check in on us every once in a while. For drinks I decided to try one of the specialty cocktails. I don't remember the name but it had tequila and pink grapefruit juice in it. I told them to hold the agave syrup as I can't stand sweet drinks and my only complaint was that they served it in those damn small glasses that are all the rage now. My date had a glass of perfectly fine Malbec. We didn't try any starters but for entrees I had the Mahi-Mahi special which was served over wild rice with a lime sauce. The fish was cooked just right and the portion sizable. My date had the DESHUESADO which is a chicken breast marinated in chimichurri and served with fresh greens. The chimichurri sauce was great, not overly garlicky like it tends to be at a lot of spot, and the chicken was moist and tender, another very sizable portion. We had a very nice leisurely dinner. This is a great spot to have a relaxing peaceful Sunday evening meal with your sweetie; it's not a foodie destination and although the food is very good, it's secondary. The vibe is what you go for.
This place is hard to find. Directly to the left of Turks & Frogs, it has limited seating outside. On a very quiet street, at least on Sunday evenings, this place is perfect to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The staff of very friendly ladies were not too fast and not too slow. Laid back, always smiling, and attentive. We ordered the salad, calamari, and mushroom pizza. All three were nicely done. We went in with no expectations except for some good food, great ambience, and friendly staff and that is what we got. We will most certainly go back.
