The sit down portion of this place is usually packed with tourists but the take out area you're usually able to get in and out pretty quickly!
I've only been there for coffee, but it's clean, efficient and the workers are pretty friendly.
Gotta go three stars on this!
Loved their Crepes!!!
There is a seating area where it's, "first come, first served"…There is other seating available so go see the host.
We ordered our coffee, croissant and crepe and sat ourselves.
Crepe was about $10. Coffee was about $2.00. Croissant was about $2.00.
Service is quick!
Make it 3.5 stars. A block from Central Park so this place is always going to be crowded. Stopped in for lunch, large menu with pretty big portions so 4 people ordered 2 personal pizzas. Pizza was good and the 2 pies were enough for us. I know it is Manhattan but I will never get used to paying $50 for 4 cups odf coffee and 2 personal pizzas.
Mehhhh.
Ordered the French toast with sausage. The French toast was pretty good. Fluffy and not dry! But the sausage… What the heck. Although good, it tasted like it had been defrosted. Its the flat ones that you get from Mcd's in your egg mcmuffin.
The double latte was weak. And just mediocre. Would not try that again.
Service was blah. Not very attentive or friendly. I don't think our waitress smiled once.
Never coming back.
Salmon crepes were really good. My boyfriend enjoyed his panini. For the prices they charge, it's just ok. With so many places to eat with cheaper prices, there are more enticing options within a 50 foot radius.
Chicken Fajita with tomato soup is delicious. Latte is served is a large bowlesque cup. Crepes are chughe and overloaded. Overall, decent spot with an okay, "please all" menu. Definitely had better crepes before, but the fajita was good to hold on its own.
Got an egg sandwich, croissant and muffin for breakfast here. While not great, the food was good and we were satisfied.
Bonus star for the prices which are very reasonable. Only $5 for egg, cheese and sausage on a hard roll.
We came here for a quick bite hour before the 8 pm recital that we need to see at Carnegie Hall. We used it also as a meeting place for our group.
Location is very accessible to the train station and waking distance to the hall. The staff was accommodating . It is a descent place, there are rooms both for restaurant and cafe. While waiting in their cafe area, I tried their chocolate covered croissant with almond sprinkles to go with my light coffee . It was a little hard for me unless I didn't noticed that it is toasted style. Price is alright. Probably better compared to other cafe within the area.
I would come back if time permitted and will try their food. My review is good right now for location, accessibility and ambiance .
