I am between two and three stars here.
Food: merely okay. The whole steamed lobster was tasty and cooked to perfection, but the tofu cheese item with seafood tasted odd. My friend found lipstick on my beer glass, which really destroyed what little confidence I had in this establishment for cleanliness. If I can recommend anything, it's the crispy chicken.
Service: could have been more responsive. For example, I am seated in a party of four, so if I ask for more napkins, is it unreasonable for me to expect more than three napkins?
Decor: it's too dark and loud for me. Maybe I'm just old.
Really spacious. Really chill. Attentive staff. Has a big parking lot which makes coming here very convenient. Decent happy hour specials. I would return if I'm ever in the area again.
A large parking lot. An extensive happy hour menu until 9pm. And their sides include extra noodles or soojehbi!
Love their pahduk – fried chicken tenders with scallions and an awesome sauce. With this ddukboki had noodles in it. Their doobookimchi could use extra dooboo. I ordered a side of soojehbi and mixed it in the sauce for the perfect carb overload.
Good service. Added music when you bring a cake for a birthday.
The menu doesn't have any descriptions so if you don't know your Korean foods, best to go with a Korean friend.
This establishment mainly caters to Korean people- upon walking in they greeted me in Korean, and the menu is primarily in Korean, with English translations that were just the English pronunciations of the Korean words (e.g. "Bu Dae Ji Gae")
Atmosphere was night club meets bar. There was a huge tv screen in the middle that played sports games. Place was dimly lit.
Service was prompt and friendly. Food was mediocre overall- standard Korean bar food. We got the budae jigae, ohjinguh (squid) bokkeum, seafood gratin, and garlic chicken wings.
Would recommend the garlic fried chicken wings! They were a stand out favorite.
Happy hour from 4-9pm every day, with discounted beers and soju.
Would recommend with big groups looking for a place to drink alcohol.
Nice casual atmosphere, and great with the happy hour prices! The good thing is that happy hour lasts til 9 every day, and a lot of the food and drink menu options are half off. The food is mediocre, but the drink prices make up for it and there's plenty of space, if coming with a big group! They have plenty of televisions if looking to catch a game and the parking lot is big enough to accommodate their large space. Good casual local bar to come and have a few drinks after work or during the weekend.
First timer here, tried a Boneless Chicken with green onions and a Seafood Woodon Gratin which were both pretty tasty. I paid half the price for beers as well (Happy Hour), so that's another plus!!
A few things I like about this place:
1) Huge parking lot & no valet service (Yes, I don't like others driving my car)
2) Very close to a major highway (convenience factor)
3) Happy Hour Sunday to Saturday from 4:00 PM-9:00 PM! This alone is awesome.
4) Cool interior/atmosphere. I and my friend went a bit before the dinner time so it was not as crowded, but people were coming in by the time we were leaving. My guess is that this place gets packed during its peak hours and days.
I plan to go back again if I get a chance.
Just came here for one drink on Monday night football so I don't have too much to say but the staff was friendly and checked up on me throughout the night. Drink and food prices seem to be slightly above average but I would be interested in going back and trying out some of their food items.
Since happy hour is until 9pm, this is a place to be and then you move on to your next adventure. It's busy and I saw lot of fried chicken come out of the kitchen.
We got the squid bokkum and chicken with cheese. We then got like 9 bottles of soju…. all this came out to like $110, which wasn't bad… back at home the bill would have been like $250.
I'll be back for sure… plenty of parking and come early if you can. Its loud in here, so don't come here expecting to have a qualify conversation 🙂
