Great place to shop and sit for a sip of coffee.
If you are a student, this place definitely is a great place to study. Very quiet and peaceful.
If you want to support small business, then perfect place to do so.
My boyfriend and I came here for coffee and study, and we finally found a coffee shop that fits us to study.
I am here waaay too often, but that's probably because I work two doors down. Love all the baristas here, especially Euan, Hal, Will and Ryan. Everyone here is super chill and they create a great environment. You can get a monthly membership that includes unlimited coffee and tea for $25 which I totally abuse. It's a combination coffee house and boutique. It really is one of those unique spots that make New York such a great place to be.
Yes, the coffee is $4 but it's actually pretty tasty and the shop itself is beyond adorable. If you are a local, PLEASE join their monthly unlimited coffee membership for me because it's an absolute steal
I stopped in just to see what they sold as far as jewelry, clothes, and things and was impressed by the selection, although I didn't find anything to take home. I love the combination of the cafe with the shop and it felt very warm and inviting. I will be back for more.
I have to start this review by stating how utterly surprised I was to not find Zooey Deschanel the Princess of Twee herself standing behind the checkout counter. Never before have I been so struck by a business's aesthetic as with Fair Folks & a Goat. It isn't that anything specific stands out or that the store is tackily decorated. While it's definitely not my own style preference, you can tell the owner had a very clear vision of the story s/he wanted and carried that out without compromise, and I can admire that!
I never would have thought to come for coffee as walking past it you'd easily mistake it for just a boutique. But my friend suggested it today after hearing about it from a bunch of his coworkers who apparently do the $25 membership for unlimited coffee. Pretty cool idea if you work nearby! That said, I wasn't impressed by the coffee. It was fine, but nothing special. If you're looking for an unconventional "coffee house" to work out of, give it a shot.
I walk by this place a fair amount of times on my way to work. Sometimes I assume it's a clothing store, other times, a coffee shop. When I finally went in this weekend–to my surprise & delight, it's friggin' both!
Everything in here is cute, functional, and for a pretty penny (a shirt is $150?!) but the shopping experience is unique and fun! They gave us complimentary wine (they must know it's the key to every basic girl's heart) and we were able to peruse as we pleased without being pestered or rushed. We ended up loving the same pair of Komono sunglasses ($80–still cheaper than the shirts), and although the store only had one, they were able to reserve another pair at their other location. Definitely a great, seamless shopping experience! Plus where else has that cool $25 a month all you can drink coffee & tea deal?
This is the place that gets me through college, through life. There is rarely a time when you walk into somewhere and you just think, this is exactly where I want to be. This place, this place is exactly where I want to be. For 25$ ONLY you walk away with unlimited coffee and tea and anything else you could ever want in life!!! (You know, if you only want coffee and tea from life). But really, this place has been such a nice community for me to return to. It has given me a place to relax, any time of the day, to read/study, and just a place to breathe within the city. Oh and did I mention that they have 2 for 1 beers and wines every day at night? Game. Set. Match.
Small, quaint coffee shop in the SoHo area. Not a ton of seating, but a nice place to spend an afternoon with a mug of coffee or tea and a book.
Barista was super cool, and he told me about the unbeatable deal they have, pay a certain amount (I believe it was $35 per month) and get unlimited coffee! That is a steal! Had I known that I would have seized upon the opportunity long ago!
I look forward to visiting this establishment again when I return to NYC
