A wonderful bar in the area that feels like a welcoming brunch joint with exposed bring, high school OG wood shop stools, and wood tables.
They have a house brew for $4 a pint, best deal around. There's an outside back area for about 15 or so.
There's also a food menu that was still rolling later in the evening on a Sunday. Food comes from the downstairs kitchen. The chili biscuits with sweet chipotle butter is soft and flakey with bits of peppery spice. Each bite is delectable, but highly decadent and enjoyable.
Schedule offers karaoke, yoga, trivia, stand up, Pokemon Go meet ups, a wonderful place for the neighborhood.
I like this place. Went here to watch a comedy show, which was okay. It's a nice bar in an area where there isn't much around, good back patio, warm atmosphere. Food was simple and okay, nothing to write home about, but I wasn't expecting anything grand. They do have a bunch of cocktails made with fresh fruit/vegetable//healthy stuff like ginger and turmeric if that's your thing. They even have a coconut drink where they crack the coconut downstairs. I just drank a few cheap beers. If I lived closer by I'd probably go back. Everyone working there was super friendly and polite, even the guy clearing our table.
