More shareable small plates, & Manhattan chef cred in a pretty Prospect Heights space with a gorgeous backyard bordering the herb garden. I sat next to the herb garden & it was so serene. Otherwise, Faun feels like the Brooklyn version of East Village's Bruno- Italian farm to table small plates, tips included. Ate: Jerusalem artichokes w/ sunflower seeds & sprouts Steamed hake over polenta with corn & shaved summer truffles Total:$51 The food was delicious, but light on fullness for the price. The hake was $32 and nary a bread at the table for a small main. White flour focaccia for $5 didn't interest me. The housemade pasta looked very good, albeit small. Heavy on flavor, Faun is small portioned.
